3rd P.O.V

On the street, the hunters watched as Matt got out of the school bus and started walking.

"Isn't his house that way?" Dean asked pointing in the opposite dorection in which the boy was walking.

"Yup." Ellie nodded.

"So where's he goin'?" Dean asked suspiciously.

They got out if the car and followed Matt. They found him in the woods, holding a praying mantis in his hand.

"Hey, Matt. Remember us?" Sam called out.

"What are you doin' out here?" Matt asked, a bit worriedly.

"Relax." Ellie grinned. "We just wanna talk."

And maybe make sure you never try to hurt anybody ever again.

Ellie ignored her.

"You're not here to buy a house, are you?" Dean shot him a look and Matt understood that that meant no. "W-wait. You're not serial killers?"

Sam laughed, while Dean smiled and Ellie chuckled.

"No, no. No, I think you're safe." Ellie said. "Altough, can't promise anything about this one." She nudged Dean teasingly. "He tends to get pissy when he doesn't get his bacon in the morning."

Dean playfully narrowed his eyes.

"Hey, don't mess with a man's bacon." Ue warned her. Then he got back to matters at hand. "So, Matt... you sure know a lot about insects."

"So?"

"Did you hear what happened to Lynda, the realtor?" Ellie asked.

"I hear she died this morning." Matt shrugged.

"Mm, that's right." Dean nodded. "Spider bites." He said accusingly.

"Matt... you tried to scare her with a spider." Sam stated.

"Wait." Matt said in realization. "You think I had something to do with that?"

"You tell us." Ellie said, gently. "If you're not responsible, you need to prove it to us."

"That tarantula was a joke." He defended himself. "Anyway, that wouldn't explain the bee attack or the gas company guy."

"You know about those?" Ellie asked in surprise.

"There is somethin' going on here." Matt agreed. "I don't know what... but something's happening with the insects. Let me show you something."

He grabbed his school bag and started walking.

"So, if you knew about all this bug stuff, why not tell your dad?" Ellie asked. "Maybe he could clear everybody out."

"Believe me, I've tried." The teenager replied.  "But, uh, Larry doesn't listen to me."

She looked at him. "Why not?"

"Mostly?" He said. "He's too disappointed in his freak son."

The other teenager nodded and she saw Sam do the same.

"I hear you." The latter said.

"You do?" Dean asked, but everyone ignored him.

"Matt, how old are you?" Sam asked.

"Sixteen."

Ellie grinned.

"Twinsies." She held up her hand and he high-fived her.
