I entered Mr. Carter's office, nervously. This was my first day on the job and I didn't want to ruin it.
"Good morning, Mr. Carter." I said as I stood in front of him.
"Good morning." He picked up his briefcase and tightened his tie, "There's been a slight change of plans. I have a meeting to go to so Mr. Haynes will be showing you the ropes until I get back."

"Thank you for paying for my mother's chemotherapy. You didn't have to." I toyed with my fingers, something I did when I was nervous.
"I did have to after the way I accused you of lying. I felt so guilty when Mr. McKinley called and explained your situation to me."
"It's fine, ho-"

"Yes. I'll be gone for about two hours so I need you to show Angel what he's supposed to do until I get back." He headed for the door, "That's fine with you?"
Clark looked at me with a smile, "It would be my pleasure."

I smiled and minimized the screen when I put the last file in.
"Thanks, Mr. Haynes."
"Just call me Clark, handsome." I looked up at him as he patted my shoulder.
Flirting off the charts.
I looked at the watch on my wrist to check the time, it was lunchtime, meaning my fat ass was about to put some food in my system.
"It's time for lunch. I'm about to head out." I stood up and we were almost face to face. I took a few steps back.
"Why don't we go together? Maybe we can get to know each other more." He hit me with that charming smile and I couldn't resist.
