Luna laid on her bed, daydreaming about Carlos. They had been talking on the phone more, Carlos showing her he would regain her trust. He had messed up trying to be an Auradon goody and dating a 'proper' girl like Jane, but Carlos knew his heart would always belong to Luna.
One day, Luna had made a pot of rat noodle soup, the Isle's alternative to chicken noodle soup. She decided to bring it over to Carlos's place for his mother Cruella, who had been diagnosed with cholera, liver disease, chicken pox, and German measles all at once. Her ailments made her meaner, and with every new day, she got worst. Cruella's curses at Carlos made him feel low, but Carlos took the insults, knowing his mother was dying.
When Carlos opened up his door to find Luna standing there, he smiled happily, pulling her in. "Ssh!", he said, putting his fingers to her lips, and taking her hand, sneaking her into his room. Luna was feeling irie, so she set the pot of soup down, and  began tickling Carlos's side, causing him to produce the cutest, most adorable laugh, saying, "That tickles!"

Carlos regained his composure and hugged Luna tightly, saying, "Thanks for coming by! I really needed to see someone other than my mother!" Luna said, "I brought her some soup! I hope this will help!" Carlos took the pot and smiled at Luna

Carlos regained his composure and hugged Luna tightly, saying, "Thanks for coming by! I really needed to see someone other than my mother!" Luna said, "I brought her some soup! I hope this will help!" Carlos took the pot and smiled at Luna. Just then, Cruella's loud angry voice sounded. "Carlos! Carlos! Where are you! I need to be changed!", she yelled, her gout so swollen she couldn't get up to go to the restroom. "Carlos!", she yelled.
Luna felt sorry for Carlos, and gave him a sweet kiss. "You better go! I'll see you later", said Luna, brushing back a strand of white hair from Carlos's face. Carlos smiled and pulled Luna close, about to really give her a kiss, when a loud crashing sound came from Cruella's room. "Carlos!", she yelled again. "Coming, mother!", he called, giving Luna a look as she closed the door.
Carlos was happy he and Luna were making progress. Now, he only had to find a way to keep his nerves around his mother. As he ladled soup into a bowl, he thought of Luna and smiled.

As Luna made her way through the square, she couldn't stop smiling. Carlos was really getting under her skin, in a good way. He was more loving now than he was when they were dating, and Luna figured losing her was enough to make him step his game up this time around and woo her and win her over for real this time.
Harry sat inside Ursula's Fish and Chips shoppe and was anxiously awaiting Luna's arrival. Uma noticed, and asked Harry, "Well, what was it like kissing my girl?' Harry gasped, covering his mouth with his gloved hand. "Uma, you saucy little thing!", exclaimed Harry, smiling devilishly, his guy-liner glistening, his eyes sparkling. Uma leaned over the counter and grabbed his vest  collar, her face serious.
