Jay had been thinking about what he wanted to do in life, after Auradon Prep. He didn't want to follow in his father's footsteps; Jay wanted to walk his own path. Growing up in Agribbah and the Isle was rough, but Jay always found a way to get by. Being in Auradon afforded him simple luxuries he never had access to, and Jay wanted to use these tools to make a difference.
Jay looked around at the pampered sons of Auradon. His youth was nothing like their relaxed, privileged way. Jay thought of the young kids of the Isle, forced to become thieves and scoundrels out of necessity. He wanted to come up with a way to help them, to give them chances, so their lives could be better.
Jay was lost in thought when he noticed Luna walking out of the back door of the kitchen. She had obviously paid Harry a visit, and was on her way to the forest when Jay called out to her. "Luna! Wait up!", exclaimed Jay, collecting his bag and jogging over to her. Jay thought Luna looked so pretty, and his smile reached her before he did.
Luna was happy to see Jay, and gave him a big hug. Luna's touch affected Jay so much, he tried not to show it. "Awapo, Jay!", said Luna, her face beautiful. Jay's embrace felt so good, Luna afforded herself more time in his arms, resting her head against his shoulder. Jay was touched from Luna's actions, and wrapped his arms around her a little longer.
"How are your classes going?", asked Jay. Luna gave him a perplexed look, then replied, "Apparently, I'm doing really well! Mr. Roux said my powers are excelling! Only, I just can't seem to focus on my Caribbean magic studies! Too many bad memories!" She had fallen in love with Henry Turner in the Caribbean.
Jay knew Carlos was prepping for an exam, and would be in the library, so he asked Luna to go back to his dorm room with him. Luna smiled, relishing the idea of spending some time alone with Jay. They walked back to the dorm room together, assorted eyes on them, followed by whisperings. Everyone who saw Jay and Luna automatically knew they were messing around, and many of the Auradon girls began to hate Luna even more, because not only did she have Jay and Carlos, who were prime candidates, she also had the gorgeous Harry Hook. How much more could they take?
Jay opened up his door and Luna went inside, oblivious to the looks she was getting. The only person Luna cared about at that moment was Jay, and she absolutely did not have a problem with the way he was looking at her. Jay didn't want to come off as just wanting sex from Luna, but having her alone, in his room, he felt this was the perfect time to show her his intentions, and his true feelings.
Luna sat down on Jay's bed, slipping off her flats. She gave Jay a sultry look, then asked, "Is it okay for me to be here?" Jay's smile was life, and to answer her question, Jay went over to where Luna sat on the bed and sat next to her. Jay smiled at Luna, then ran his fingers through her hair. Luna pulled Jay closer, bringing his face next to hers. "Am I a bad person, Jay?", Luna asked, her sweet breath tempting. Jay shook his head no, his hands pulling her closer.
"Why do you think you're a bad person, Luna? Has someone told you that?", asked Jay. Luna moved herself out of his embrace, and stood, going to the window. A sadness spread across her face as Luna said, "It just seems like I'm a bad person...because of the way I am! I harbor great feelings of love, but my heart bleeds, because I can't settle on one person! It makes me look like a slut.."
