Clary Fray

Friday came quickly. The next few days were going to be eventful as we found out who makes the cheer team, the plans for the club, and Jonathan goes back home.
I tap my red converse on the tile floor of the school's cafeteria. I'm ignoring the conversation between Izzy, Simon, Alec, and Jace. My headphones blare Green Day. I haven't been this antisocial for lasts few days, but I didn't feel like hearing Izzy talk about how hot she thinks Jonathan is and how she's upset she didn't get to see him much before he has to leave.
I feel a small tug and on of my earbuds pops out of my ear...thanks to Simon.
He hold it in his hand, looking proud of himself for getting my attention.
"Thanks. Give it back." I hold my hand out.
"What's wrong? I want to talk to you, not be replaced by Billie Joe Armstrong."
I sigh. "What's up?"
"Rebecca wants to meet your brother." He says quickly, I almost didn't catch it.
"What?" I give him a confused look.
He laughed. "Yeah, she saw a picture of him on Instagram. Now she thinks he's really hot and she wants to meet him."
"Ha! Well if they get married, we'd be in laws." I poke his arm.
He gives a small laugh and looks down. "Oh, yeah... that would be funny."
His sudden mood change concerns me, but Izzy tears my attention away.
"Clary, Jace is going to the club with us tonight." She looks at me, her eyes basically tell me to be nice.
"Okay." I sigh. Of course he is, he's suddenly a member of our little group. "Alec, are you going to eat that muffin?"
He shakes his head and gives it to me. It's chocolate chip, baked by one of the chefs their family has because everyone in their house is too busy for it... or they're Isabelle and burn water.
"Jace, you have to come to our house sometime! We might throw a party soon, our parents are going out of town soon and taking our little brother. Maybe you can come then." Izzy invites.
He smiles. "Yeah, I'll think about it."
I get a weird feeling in my stomach watching the interaction between them. I glance at Alec, he seems to look a little upset by it to. But I know Izzy wouldn't do that to Alec.
The bell rings releasing us to class. I quickly stand and rush out of the cafeteria, feeling slightly uncomfortable and confused. I'm not sure what I'm feeling.

Later that night, Izzy walks out of her closet wearing a skin tight, white, two piece dress. Actually, I'm not even sure if I should call it a dress. It's more like a skirt and a matching top.
"How does this look? This club looked kind of kinky or something. I think this fits that criteria." She looks at her appearance in her huge closet mirror.
"Yeah, wear it." I say, not sure what to say.
"Great. Now what are you wearing?" She asks.
I shrug. "I was just going to wear this." A green t-shirt, jeans, converse, and my hair in a basic ponytail.
"No! Not acceptable! You can borrow something of mine." She goes back to her closet and comes back with a tiny black dress. I looks mostly like just a top.
"Izzy, that's so short!" I say.
"Put it on. Trust me." She pushes. "Do it!"
I let out a breath and go to change.
I was correct. The dress end right below my behind and is skin tight. I carefully and awkwardly walk out to show Isabelle the dress.
Her eyes light up as soon as she sees me. "You look so good! Lets put on a little bit of makeup."
She pulls me over to her vanity. "You don't need a lot. Just put on some mascara and lipgloss.... and perfect!" She says as she applies the products to my face.
I take in my appearance.
"Ok, put these shoes on." She hands be a pit of black pumps. She pulls on a pair of white boots to match her outfit.
I don't bother to object, there's no point.
We walk out of her room and shut the door behind us. Jace, Simon, and Alec are waiting for us by the front door.
I feel two pairs of eyes check me out; Simons and Jace's.
"Damn," Simon exclaims, being a good friends and complimenting us. Jace rolls his eyes, him and Simon don't have the best friendship.
Izzy and I smile.
"Let's go and PARTY!" Izzy yells.
As we pile into Alec's black Nissan Versa, Izzy passes out our fake IDs.
"Don't you think they will recognize me? I am pretty famous after all." Jace inquires.
Izzy huffs. "Then maybe you can bribe your way into getting drinks. Or I can buy them and give them to you?"
"I think it's best to do the latter." Alec inputs. "Let's not risk getting kicked out."
"Do we have to be over twenty-one to get in?" I ask.
"No, eighteen." Izzy responds.
I furrow my eyebrows. "We aren't eighteen, they will ask for our ID, which isn't good for Jace."
We are a few minutes away at this point.
"Maybe we can sneak him in?" Simon says.
  We all shrug.

As we walk towards Pandemonium, girls constantly stop and point at Jace. It got annoying after while, but once we got in line a bunch of girls started to recognize him and let us pass them.
A muscular man with a blue Mohawk guards the entrance. He looks us up and down. "Got an ID?"
We have him our fake IDs, including Jace who he didn't seem to recognize. Therefore, we got in pretty easily.
"Okay, that we got lucky." Isabelle laughs. "Let's get some drinks."
"Um, I think I'm going to hold off on that. Maybe later." I say.
Simon stands next tonne. "Yeah, I think I'm going to wait, too."
Izzy shrugs. "Suit yourself."
"We are going to go dance," I say, they all nod and go towards the bar.
I pull Simon's hand to follow me. We push our way through the crowd of sweaty adults and start dancing.
"You look great tonight." Simon says.
I smile, "Aw, Thanks. Isabelle made me wear it."
He laughs. "Izzy seems to convince you to do a lot of things."
"Sometimes. I trust her opinion though." I laugh.
"Heyyyy!" Izzy shouts over the music, pushing her way to us. She's already a little tipsy, holding a dirty martini in one hand and a cosmopolitan in the other. "I got you think, Clary Fairy. Drink up." She hands the cosmopolitan to me.
I take a sip of it. Jace is holding a glass with vodka Alec has a bottle of water, probably to be sober enough to drive us home.
"Drink faster, Clary! Loosen up." Izzy pressures.
"Calm down, jeez!" I breathe.
She giggles and shrugs. She wraps her arms around Simon's neck and begins grinding on him. His shocked expression is priceless.
"You can tell her doesn't get out much." Jace whispers in my ear.
I roll my eyes, talking a drink from my glass. "Clubs and parties aren't much of Simon's thing."
He chuckles, "Clearly. Want to dance?"
I was already swaying to the music as we speak. I quickly chug the last half of my drink. My alcohol tolerance is really low, I'm already feeling tipsy. I place my empty glass on a passing tray. "I guess."
I someone copy Isabelle's moves as best as I could. I'm not as easy going as her so it was a little hard. Jace seemed to enjoy it anyway. The energy in the club itself made it hard to tell whether or not I was sober.
Simon is dancing with Izzy. He looks happy and like he's having a good time. Maybe him and Izzy will end up getting together.
Alec is kind of alone of to the side. Well, not completely alone. He's talking to a guy...
I slow my dancing for a minute. Jace gets confused and slows down as well.
I focus my eyes on the guy.
Alec is talking with Mr. Bane. Our art teacher.
And they are flirting.

This isn't the end of the night for them. There's much more to come. It's only been about an half an hour for them. It's gonna get goooOoooOoOooOoOoOOOOOooood.
