Lost Brother (part 2/3) ***COMPLETED***

Blood Blossom

Danny had now been with the Teen Titans for just over three months and he was starting to feel like he was part of the family. Over the last three months the Titans took down many villains and even saved the world once. As Danny was sitting in his room (now painted black with white and green accents and furniture) the alarm went off. A smile crept its way across his face and he phased through the walls to the living room. When he showed up Robin was standing at the main computer with the rest of the Titans behind him.

"There are two criminals destroying down town! Titans GO!" Robin yelled and the group quickly dispersed. Danny flew threw the window and watched as the rest of the Titans raced down the street in the blue and white T-car Cyborg built. It only took two minutes to reach downtown and see the destruction that had already been caused. Danny flew ahead to see where the villains were as the Titans got out of the car.

In the middle of the street Danny saw the last two people in the world he would ever want to see. Standing there were Jack and Maddie Fenton, his adoptive parents.

"NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!" Danny screamed to them. The Titans rushed in when they heard Danny yelling.

"Danny? Do you know these two?" Robin questioned. Danny simply nodded as he now stood completely still in shock.

"Why, we can't check in on our son once in a while?" Maddie purred a wicked and ugly smile spreading across her lips.

"I... am... not... your SON!" Danny managed to choke out as he jumped in the air and shot like a bullet towards the two. Almost as fast Maddie reached in to a satchel and pulled out a small ectogun that she used to blast Danny back behind the Titans. Seeing this snapped the Titans out of the daze they were in and they took up battle stances and attacked the two adults.

Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven moved to attack Jack. Quickly Jack released an EMP bomb disabling Cyborg. Beast Boy and Raven continued to attack him by throwing things at him and attempting to land a few swipes of claws on him to no prevail. Jack then pulled out a large ectogun of his own and shot down Raven and Beast Boy.

Meanwhile Robin and Starfire had moved to attack Maddie. Star began shooting starbolts at her which Maddie dodged all of. One shot of the ectogun and Starfire was down for the count. Robin pulled out his Bo staff and charged Maddie. She pulled out a staff of her own and blocked Robins attack. Maddie swept her staff at Robins feet making him jump to avoid the attack. As Robin was in the air Maddie planted the end of her staff on the ground and swung around on it kicking Robin in the face. He stumbled backwards and fell on his back. Maddie walked up and kicked him once more in the face, knocking him out.

Danny finally got up from the foot deep crater he was in and flew up to find his whole team defeated and Maddie standing over Robin unconscious on the ground. This only angered Danny more as he shot forward once again.

Out of nowhere a shooting pain raced through Danny's core making him fall from the sky into the rubble on the ground. He looked up to see Maddie and Jack throwing down a redish flower with a black stem. They surrounded Danny with the Blood Blossoms and laughed as he writhed in pain from the flowers. Maddie pulled out her ectogun and aimed it right at Danny.

She fired several rounds at Danny before Jack joined in and began shooting Danny as well. They continued to shoot until Danny could barely move and green specked blood covered the ground. Once they were happy with the pain they had caused him Maddie loaded a green net in to a large bazooka and captured Danny in it.

Just as they were about to collect their prize though a blast came from above them and they were forced back several feet. The Teen Titans jumped in between Danny and the evil Fentons. Seeing no way out Maddie grabbed Jack and the two fled.

The second the Jack and Maddie were out of sight Robin turned to Danny and saw how destroyed he was. His cloths were ripped to shreds and there was an alarmingly large pool of green speckled blood surrounding him. The team got the net off of him and began moving him away. Danny began screaming when he got close to flowers that were spread across the ground so the Titans moved all the flowers and raced home.

Once Robin got Danny in to the med center he ordered the rest of the Titans to leave and let him help Danny. When they were all gone Robin began cutting off Danny's shirt to stich him up. With the little consciousness Danny had he tried to make Robin stop but he was too weak. When Robin go the shirt off he was surprised to see a large y-shaped scar spanning from his shoulders to his lower stomach.

"This is going to hurt, a lot. It would be best if you just sleep Danny." Robin said with as calm a voice as he could. Danny shook his head and winced at the movement. Danny was beginning to fade in and out of consciousness and fighting with all his strength not to sleep. He knew if he passed out he would transform back to Danny Fenton and Robin would see it.

Robin began stitching some of the larger gashes and Danny almost immediately passed out from pain. Seconds after he was out two white rings appeared over Danny making Robin jump back in surprise. He saw where Danny Phantom once layer was now a boy who looked scarily similar to Robin himself.

Twenty minutes later Robin stepped away from the bed Danny was laying on. He was completely stitched up and his heart rate was back to its abnormally slow beat. He sat down in a chair next to the medical bed and began thinking.

"Why do you look so much like me?" he questioned aloud. After a few minutes of silence and thinking Danny began to move and moan. The heart monitor began rapidly beeping and Danny began screaming as he shoot straight up out of the bed onto the celling.

"Whoa! Hey, calm down!" Robin said as he pulled Danny back down on to the bed. Danny took up the fetal position and hid his face in his legs. Robin could tell the young teen was now crying by the slight movement in his shoulders. Slowly, Robin walked next to the bed and rubbed circles on Danny's back just like he did with his little brother before he went missing. After a few minutes Danny finally seemed to calm down and looked up to Robin.

"I... I guess there goes my secret identity huh?" he chuckled trying to lift the mood.

"Your secret is safe with me. Can I show you something?"

"Umm... what?" Slowly Robin brought his hand up to his face and removed the domino mask to reveal Richard Grayson-Wayne.

"I'm Dick Grayson. Now that I know your secret identity it is only fitting you know mine."

"Dude, you stole my face!" Danny said.

"Or you stole mine" the two laughed "now can I ask you something?"

"What?

"Who were those people and why did you freak out like that just now?"

"They were my parents, and  the reason I freaked out was because... well... they experimented on me and tortured me." Danny said obviously having trouble even thinking about it. "I can't remember most of it but... at night sometimes I have memories come back to me..." Danny stopped there and began to sob again. Robin simply pulled him in to a hug and tried to sooth him. It was strange, Robin couldn't help but feel protective and loving for this young boy he had only know for a few months now.

The two teens sat there for a while until Robin suggested they go eat dinner and get some rest which Danny agreed to before transforming back into Phantom, his cloths now completely fixed. Dick placed his mask back on his face and walked out of the medical bay to the living room side by side with Danny.
