A/N: Hey guys, sorry for the long wait again I have gotten so busy with sports getting going again I am crazy busy and have had no time to write. Anyways, as always vote, comment and enjoy this next chapter.
It was now 9:00 pm and Danny had to leave now. He placed the letters he wrote the night before on his bed and turned intangible. With one final mental good-bye to his team he flew out the roof and to the docks, trying to soak up the last bits of freedom he would ever have to enjoy before being locked up and experimented on for the rest of his half life.
Slowly he flew into the darkness, away from the place he now called home and his new friends... no... new family.
At 9:26 Danny flew up to the docks and landed, invisibly, on a building just far enough away from where Jack and Maddie where standing so his enhanced hearing and sight could pick them up. The where talking to each other. All Danny could make out was that he was disgusting and their captive would surely ensure that he wouldn't fight back. The thought of Jack and Maddie taking a captive just to get him enraged Danny and clouded his judgement for a split second.
In that split second Danny jumped from his hiding spot and landed ten feet in front of his adoptive "parents" if you could even call them that. he dropped the invisibility, earning a slight gasp from Jack. Looking around Danny noticed that the two were not alone. All around Danny stood men dressed in white with black sunglasses on, despite the fact that it was dark out.
Fear now took hold of Danny and twisted his stomach into a knot. He continued looking around the room doing his best to not let the fear show but that didn't last long. On the ground a little ways away from Jack and Maddie knelt a teen with bright red hair and a tattered blue head band on.
Jazz looked up and made eye contact with Danny shaking her head slightly, as if telling him to go. Rage now flooded into Danny's veins as he turned to, once again, face Jack and Maddie. The two smiled at him.
"Come with us and she won't be harmed, Ghost Boy." Maddie called in her smooth and silky voice, sending chills down Danny's spine.
"That is your daughter, a human being. Let her go. I am not going to fight you."
"Now what fun would that be?" Jack replied. Suddenly the GIW agents surrounding Jazz pointed their guys at Jazz's head and placed their fingers on the triggers. Jazz simply sat with her hands tied behind her back holding back tears.
Danny stood completely still staring Jack and Maddie down. He lowered his head and put his hands out for the agents to walk forward and put cuffs on him. Before the agents could even think of taking a step though there was a loud screech like tires on pavement. Everyone turned to find the T-car come to a skidding halt and all the Titans jump out of the car.
Danny looked at them relived to see them okay but also sad that they still care about him and now have to see him go to be tortured. Suddenly Danny remembered Jazz behind him with guns pointed at her head.
"You guys have to go now!" He said surprising himself with the false calmness in his voice.
"Danny, I am not leaving you. I can't lose you again, not when I jus found out who you really are." Robin said confusing Danny. Danny shook his head and thought to himself for a second. Was Robin going to tell everyone his true identity? Danny looked at Robin quizzically.
"What are you talking about Robin?" He asked his head beginning to spin with questions and worry. He didn't want the rest of the Titans to find out about him like this, let alone give the Fentons more ammo against him.
Robin began smiling only worrying Danny more. What if he had been working with the GIW the whole time and was going to turn him over? Robin looked him straight in his toxic green eyes and took a deep breath. "Danny, in you letter you told me how your parents died just like mine right? Well I've been thinking, what if it's not a coincidence they died the same way?"
Danny began to piece it together. His head began to spin faster along with the world around him. "What are you saying Robin?" Danny questioned. He wanted to hear it from Robin.
Robin took another deep breath as all eyes turned to him, especially Danny's who was slightly wobbling on his feet now.
"Danny, I think... we are brothers."
Suddenly there was a loud bang and Danny turned to see an agent looking terrified and a smoking gun. Jazz was laid on the ground and a puddle of blood now expanded from her head.
Before Danny could process what had happened the dark spots that had been swimming in his vision blocked out everything and he fell to his knees. When he looked back up there was a large smile on his head and his eyes were a bloody color of red.
"Big mistake." he said through his cackle.
A/N: sorry for the short chapter guys but this was the best place to stop. I might update again today if I can get the next chapter done before I have to go but if not tomorrow. Thank you for reading and voting!
