BEEP!

BEEP!

BEEP!

CRASH!

Slowly they young raven haired teen rolled out of bed and pulled the blankets off of his body. He opened his eyes and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. He changed into his normal white tee with a red oval and blue jeans. The teen ruffled his hair slightly in the merrier to seem like he at least tried and went down the stairs for breakfast.

"Morning mom." The young boy said through a yawn as he walked into the kitchen seeing his mom making waffles and his sister sitting at the table with his dad.

"Morning Danny-boy!" Jack, his father, bellowed across the room.

"How was your sleep hon?" Maddie, Danny's mother, asked in her normal sing song voice.

"Good I guess." Danny said as he thought about the weird dream he had. He was half ghost and his family had betrayed him and he... changed. Shaking his head he sat down at the table and filled his plate with the delicious pancakes.

"What's wrong Danny?" Jazz, his older sister said with slight concern.

"Just a weird dream Jazz." Danny waved his hand dismissively and scarfed down the rest of his food. He stood and walked out the front door to meet up with his two best friends, Sam and Tucker.

As Danny walked to school he had a really uneasy feeling, like some darkness was looming over him, but every time he looked behind his back nothing was there. Again he shrugged it off and continued to walk to meet his friends.

-----------Time Skip---------

The rest of Danny's day went normally, but he still couldn't shake the weird feeling in the back of his mind. It wasn't until late that night while Danny was doing homework in his room that the feeling grew stronger.

As he was sitting in his room the feeling came back, but this time it was stronger, like something was there. When he turned around it wasn't the other half of his 'empty' bedroom staring back at him but a darkness that seemed like it never ended. The black darkness slowly spread across Danny's room until it had surrounded the frozen teen.

In the void of black Danny began to hear voices. The voices of Sam and Tucker were there, along with Jack and Maddie's, and Jazz, then there where some he couldn't place. Puzzled Danny stood to walk. When he did that the ground below him began to crumble. He fell through and was pitched into the endless black.

When Danny next opened his eyes he was standing in a circus tent. Lights where shining and a large crowd was cheering at acrobats flying high above the ground. There was a loud crack and lots of screams. Danny was forced to cover his ears as the screams grew louder and louder, reverberating in his head.

He opened his eyes again and he was in an old orphanage. Another young boy next to Danny. For some reason Danny felt close to the young boy next to him, but he couldn't tell why. Hands grabbed Danny from behind and began dragging him away from the older boy.

Next, Danny found himself in his parents lab. Sam and Tucker standing by his side, smiling and telling him to just go in, to see what's inside. Slowly, the memory came back to Danny as his legs moved automatically walking him to the large hole in the wall. He tripped and fell. Pain flooded every part of his being. Electricity crackled and scorched over his whole body leaving nothing behind but a scarred kid that is forever changed.

The pain disappeared leaving Danny to open his eyes again. He was in Sam's room sitting with Tucker on her bed. Sam herself was standing up pacing the room screaming.  "WHERE YOU EVEN GOING TO TELL US?" She screamed at him. Danny placed his hands over his ears trying to block out the horrible memory of when he lost his friends. The screams continued and Danny sat on the bed as terrible memories flooded his mind.

Suddenly he was in his room his sister crying as she yelled at him. Then in the lab strapped to a table while his parents stood over him with blood blossom covered scalpels cutting him open and testing him. Then he was at Phantom keep. He was alone and all around him was darkness. He was on a dock and Jazz was laying dead on the ground, her eyes wide open looking at him as one last tear escaped her eyes.

Every other bad memory flooded Danny's mind. The darkness all around him seemed to grow stronger with every dark and painful memory. Then something began to glow. He looked towards it and saw himself sitting at the Nasty Burger laughing with Sam and Tucker. Then he was sitting in the Titans tower with his brother.

The light of the memories seemed to push the darkness away, if only a little, but enough for Danny to fight. Danny began standing and when he stood he began to gain strength. Danny would fight the darkness until he won.

--------The real world-------------

Dan had been meditating and thinking of every bad thing that had ever happened to him for an hour now. As soon as he had gone through all the bad memories he looked for Danny inside his mind. In an attempt to destroy the good half of himself Dan dumped all the bad he could on the teen.

Just as he thought Danny was gone for good something happened. A good memory came from the back of his mind. Danny seemed to start fighting back. Before things could go too far Dan stopped the meditation and shoved Danny into the darkest part of his mind possible in hopes that would stop him.

Before Dan was confident that without Robin and Jazz he could crush the good left in him forever but he just never could give up. Maybe if Dan could show Danny there is nothing left fighting for he would give up. That thought gave Dan a wicked and evil plan that just might work if he did it right so Dan stood up and began making preparations for the big finale of Danny Phantom.
