Slowly the layers of black peeled back. A white light filtered through Danny's thin eyelids. As he lifted his heavy eyelids he saw he was in a solid white room. Slowly Danny lifted his head and instantly regretted it. A splitting pain laced its way through Danny's skull and into his temple. Wincing Danny layed back on the bed. Quietly the door creaked open to reveal Sam and Raven talking to each other.

Danny smiled seeing his friends, new and old, getting along. When the two girls noticed he was awake they didn't hesitate to engulf him in a double hug and lots of angry yelling.

"If you ever scare me like that again you will be meeting the bottom of my boot!" Sam yelled.

"I will dark magic you to another dimension if you scare me again!" Raven yelled at the same time.  The sudden yelling made the abnormally slow beep of the heart monitor speed up. The two girls stopped and looked at the monitor before guiltily turning back to Danny.

"Sorry guys. I didn't mean to scare you. I didn't mean for any of this to happen." Danny said in a barley audible whisper.

"Danny this isn't your fault. It was the GIW you can't blame yourself." Sam comforted as she grabbed his hand and sat on the hospital bed next to him.

"Wait! Robin! Is he okay! He was dead! What happened?!" Danny suddenly yelled remembering his older brother. Both girls looked down to the floor at the end of Danny's yelling. The room fell silent as Danny began fearing the worst had happened.

Like earlier the small door quietly creaked open to reveal the rest of the Titans and Tucker.

"Dude. What's with all the yelling?" Beast Boy questioned as he entered the room. The Titans recognized the look of horror on Danny's face and immediately parted. Standing behind all of the Titans was the one face Danny had been hoping to see. His brother.

Robin walked over to his brother and hugged him tight. "You can't get rid of me that easily." he whispered in Danny's ear.

"So what exactly happened? Last I checked you were dead."

"We were hoping you could tell us. All we know is that your hands glowed a really bright white and suddenly you were out cold and Robin was fully healed." Cyborg explained.

"Your energy levels were so low we worried you wouldn't make it for a couple of days." Beast Boy continued.

"A couple of days! How long have I been out!" Danny exclaimed.

"About a week." Tucker said from the back of the group.

"Wow. What ever I did must have drained me. I've never done that before." Danny looked down at his hands as if he was expecting to see the white glow and feel the warmth again.

"Well whatever it was, you saved me little bro." A smile cracked across Robin's masked face. "Now it has been a week since you have eaten. Want some food?" At the mention of food Danny's stomach rumbled and brought a slightly red-green blush to his cheeks.

"Yeah, food sounds kinda good." Danny replied as he kicked his feet over the side of the bed and pulled the heart beat monitor off his finger. Everyone smiled seeing the youngest hero with his usual energy. Together all the teens walked out of the med bay room and out of the tower ready to get pizza from Pizza Slice.

Turned out Sam and Tucker had convinced their parents to move to Jump City. Sam and Tucker soon joined the Teen Titans and Team Phantom continued on within the Titans. Danny lived in the tower with his brother and continued to fight crime and ghosts.
