"What is your problem", Jhanvi yelled at Gauri. Annika and Gauri were relaxing in hall when Jhanvi stormed to them. "Can't you remain happy to have destroyed Om's life? Do you have to extend your destruction to Rudra and Bhavya too?", she was fuming at Gauri. "Excuse me?", Gauri asked skeptically. "Jhanvi Aunty, what are you saying", Annika was clueless. Jhanvi ignored Annika and she directed her indexfinger to Gauri , "Listen to me Gauri. My elder son is adamant and I have no option else I would never have put up with a girl like you. But if you ever hurt Bhavya then I will not spare you". "Hurt Bhavya? I have barely spoked to her", Gauri replied. " Don't you dare to act innocent. I am well aware of your sorts. Your behaviour shows the culture your mother has inculcated in you", Jhanvi said sarcastically. "Mrs. Oberoi, who are you to raise finger on my upbringing. An alcoholic? , A meek wife ? Or an unfit mother who cared a damn about her kids?", Gauri roared at her. "GAURI", Omkara's voice echoed across the hall. "How dare you talk like that to my mother? Apologize NOW", he ordered. "Apology, my foot. Who the hell is she to criticise by mother? Mrs Jhanvi Oberoi, you were always a faliure as a mother", Gauri told vehemently. "SHUT UP", Omkara raise his hand to strike Gauri while she help her hands across her face in defensive position. "Don't you dare hit her O", Rudra's voice stalled Omkara's hands from falling on Gauri.

"Don't think that she is alone and at your mercy", Rudra threatened him. "Wow. So your knight in shining armour is here for your aid", Omkara remarked to Gauri sarcastically. "Yes, I am here and will be there for her always", Rudra replied with equivalent fervor. Gauri tried to interrupt, " Rudra please don't interfere. It's between me and my husband". Omkara clapped his hands dramatically, "Bravo, Rudy. Finally you have courage to fight for her. But I am sorry to inform you, she doesn't need you anymore. And let me remind you that you were never beside her when she needed you". Rudra grimaced by the sharp words from his O, "Yes, it is true. But it was your resentment and vengeance that kept me away from her". Annika who was completely lost by commotion quickly left to fetch her husband. Gauri who was still standing between the brothers was astound by Rudra's words and turned to Omkara, "Is it true?". Omkara was deeply hurt to know that she still trusted Rudra more than him. He dashed to grab Rudy's collar and yelled, "How could you blame me for your cowardice?" . "Bcoz it is the truth. You were so angry that you pushed me away from yourself and Gauri. You kept on blaming me for everything and I was crushed beneath my guilt. I was all alone , O. I was so depressed that I failed to acknowledge the fact that you were as much as responsible for the accident as I was", Rudra cried out. "How dare you?", he roared and pushed him. Rudra also reacted with force. The Oberoi brothers were scuffling while ladies tried to stop them. "Rudy,Om stop it", Shivaay's voice beamed through the hall. Om and Rudy realised they were fighting and broke apart. "What nonsense it this? Have you both lost it?", Shivaay growled at them. "Om started it. He was going to hit Gauri", Rudy pointed finger at Om. "She was insulting OUR MOTHER", Om said firmly making Rudra perceive gravity of situation. Shivaay glared at Gauri, accusing her for all the mishaps. "Gauri, apologize to Badi Ma", he demanded. "But Shivaay..."Annika tried to explain but he raised his hand silencing her. Gauri glanced at them, Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra. All of them silently accusing and she couldn't find an ounce of support or sympathy in any of them. "I said APOLOGIZE", Shivaay raised his voice. Gauri folder her hands to Jhanvi, "Mujhe maaf kardijiye. I am sorry for everything". She rushed to her room to avoid breaking into tears. Jhanvi also felt bad and left without a word.

"It was extreme, Shivaay", Annika scolded him infront of OmRu. "Extreme? Why? My brothers were fighting like street dogs over a silly matter and I settled it", he explained. "No you didn't. As usual, you just declared a verdict in favour of your brothers. You didn't allow me or Gauri to explain that it was Jhanvi Aunty who started it all. It was she who bad mouthed Gauri's parents and her upbringing which provoked Gauri", Annika's words punched both Om and Shivaay. "Forget it. Despite the provocation, let's say it was wrong to insult her mother-in-law. Then what about Om?  He raised his hands on Gauri. Wasn't it wrong? Why didn't you ask him to apologize to Gauri? " Annika pointed out. "And Rudy you. I don't know what's your history with Gauri and I am least interested to probe into it. I appreciate your chivalry to protect Gauri yet you lost your cool and made it worse for her", Annika blamed him too. It dawned to Shivaay that his wife was right, they all were at fault. "O, go and apologize to Gauri. She needs you now", Rudra's mature advice surprised his elder brothers. "No need. You three sit down and settle your issues first. I will handle Gauri", Annika was determined and none dared to cross her.

Gauri wiped her tears as Annika knocked and entered her room. She sat silently when Annika kept her hands on her shoulder. "I understand Gauri. Believe me I have gone through the same when I came here as Shivaay's bride. It wasn't easy for me either", Annika consoled. Gauri nodded. "I am not justifying but Om is very close to his mother and perhaps your words hurt him deeply same way Jhanvi Aunty's words provoked you. And Shivaay. He is a lost case when it comes to his family and his brothers", Annika told animatedly , "aur sab kuch aaj hi hona tha, shaadi ke ek din pehle". "I am happy that it happened before wedding", Gauri's words shocked Annika, "Now I know clearly where I stand". "What do you mean, Gauri?", she asked anxiously. "Blood is thicker than water. Today I faced three Oberoi men who had promised me to support and protect me. One as a brother, another as a friend and third as my husband. But none stood up for me today, they are were all against me. They couldn't keep their word". "I don't know about those two clowns but I always keep my word", Shivaay's words startled both ladies. " As a brother when I knew that my sister was wrong, I scolded her and corrected. I would do the same in future too and if needed I will pull your ear also", Shivvay's explanation brought some solace to Annika and Gauri. "It's not easy to be my sister, Gauri. You have to bear not only my love but my discipline also. Yesterday I told you not to worry as I am there to guide you. Remember?", he asked. Gauri smiled through her tears. "Om is not wrong, Gauri. You lost your temper when Badi ma spoke about your late mother, a mother whom you have only faint memories. Om being extremely closer to Badi ma throughout his life couldn't control when you insulted her. Yet he is guilty and he will apologize", Shivaay assured.

Omkara and Rudra was sitting beside the pool where Shivaay had left them with stern command to talk and sort out their differences. "I am sorry O. I shouldn't have interfered. But when I saw you raising hand on her, I just lost it", Rudra broke the silence. Omkara sighed and asked, "Did I drive you to depression, Rudy?". Rudra nodded, "You were so angry at me. While they were shifting Gauri from ambulance to hospital, I tried to come near and you shouted at me to stay away from her, blamed me for everything and threatened to kill me if something happens to Gauri". "What? I don't remember it?", Omkara was shocked. "You were pretty mad at that time, still holding her hand, constantly telling her that all will be fine. Shivvay had to drag me away from you. You can ask him if you don't believe me", Rudra said. "I don't have to. I know you won't lie to me", Om told him. Om was feeling guilty. It was hard to accept that he was responsible for his baby brother's sorrow. He gulped his drink to quench the embers of his wrongdoing but was unsuccessful. "I am sorry, Rudy", he managed to speak his mind. "It's okay, O. I doesn't matter now. I love Bhavya and happy with her. I always cared about Gauri, I still do and will always do. Our relationship was somewhere amid friendship and love. I admit that you are better suited for her. Just take care of her", Rudra was emotional. "I will. Always", Omkara promised. "O, I know you all thought me and Gauri were living together but we were never...I mean...", Rudra was hesitant. "I know Rudy. It never mattered to me but she told me already", he said. "O,you both have grown really close else she would have never disclosed it to you. I guess then congrats O", Rudy extended his hand to O. To his chagrin, Omkara pushed his hand away but Rudra was delighted when he heard Om's next words , "Besharam. Apney bhai ko koi aisey wish karta hain kya? Aaja galey lag". Rudu jumped to his embrace. "I missed you a lot, O", he said between his sobs. "Me too, Rudy", Om conveyed emotionally. "This calls for a Obro moment "Shivaay said while joining them. ShivOmRu were really happy. "So now what?", Omkara asked. "BACHELOR'S PARTY", they all screamed in one voice.
