TMI fanfiction: A Broken Past (sequel to A broken Furture)

Chapter 1

In New York
Jace's POV

It's been 2 years since Clary died, I've started to get over her death. The first few months were hard, that were hard on all of us. But I think it was hard on me the most.

Simon and Izzy got through it together, as did Alec and Magnus and Jocelyn and Luke. Me, I had no one.

I practically lived in my room for at least 4 months, I'd only come out for food or to train. Sometimes I'd go down t central park as the sun was coming up, and sat down at the Alice in wonderland statue, Clary's favourite place to visit.

At the moment, I'm in my room looking at myself in the mirror. I have dark circles under my eyes, my hair is a mess. I'm a mess. Around my neck, is the Morgenstern ring on a chain along with the engagement ring I was going to give to Clary.

There was a knock on my door and Alec came in. "Hey, how you doing?" He asked, like does every day.

"Better, I think. I'm getting there."

"Good to hear, listen everyone is needed in the library for a meeting."

"Ok, I'll be there in a sec."

Alec left, and I was alone again.

I guess I should update you on what's happened in the last 2 years. Well, Simon a fully trained Shawdowhunter and is still dating Izzy. Alec and Magnus or engaged, and are deciding when to have there wedding. The shadow world has started accepting downworlders and Shawdowhunters dating, which is great.

Luke and Jocelyn are still happily married, and are thinking of adopting a child.

Me, I haven't been on a date since Clary. I've been hunting demons to pass the time. And trying to find Sebastian, we know he's out there but we don't know where.

After I changed and fixed my hair I went to the library. Simon, Izzy and Alec were there. Along with Maryse.

"Now you're all here, I'll tell you the news. The four of you, along with Magnus bane will be traveling to the Manchester institute in the United Kingdom to stay there for a couple of months. There are 2 rogue Shawdowhunters and you are to go to Manchester and find out who they are."  Maryse informed us.

I've always wanted to visit the UK.

"When do we leave?" I asked.

"In a couple of hours, now go pack and be ready to leave. Magnus will be here to go through the portal with you."

We all let you our rooms and packed.

*A couple hours later*

We are all the library getting ready to leave. The portal opened and we all stepped through.

When we landed, we were outside a large cathedral, I guess it's the Manchester institute. Alec knocked on the door and man who looked in his 50s answered.

"Hello, I am Patrick Starduke (a/n, if you can guess why I used Duke instead of another similar word comment below). I am the head of this institute, I'll show to your rooms and then you can look around as you please. You can also look around the city. There is a nice park nearby, if you get lost its easy to find your back, just look for the spears of the cathedral."

Patrick took us to our rooms, I was next to Simon's room. I unpacked and decided to visit the park nearby.

When I got to the park I just walked. Me being me bumped into somewhere, I saw they dropped some of there stuff so I help picked it up. When I looked up I saw the most beautiful girl I have seen in a long time...

A/n I am so so so so sorry for not updating. I've had so much homework it's unbelievable. I'm going on holiday soon but I'll update all my stories when I get back. Message if you have any ideas for the story cause I have some plot holes.
