Everyone ran to the side of the boat, looking into the water, waiting for her to emerge.

The water darkened and suddenly it shot up, spraying everyone aboard the ship.

When the water calmed some, everyone gasped at the scene before them.

"True loves kiss won't defeat this!," Uma cried, her newly formed tentacles swishing in the water below her.

Her tentacles suddenly shit out of the water aiming to strike the people on the ship, causing them to duck.

Carmalita's legs began to shake and her eyes changed to a bright purple color.

Their mother always told them being able to turn into a seawitch ran in the family.

Letting go of Gil's hand, she took a step back, before running and diving into the water with her sister.

Uma watched as her sister's form began to change, sending the younger up higher into the water.

Her purple tentacles moved underneath her, keeping her afloat.

"Uma, I-I know how much y-you want this-,"

"You don't know what I want!," Uma's tentacles shot out, landing a hit on Carmalita's right arm.

She cringed but didn't back down.

"Y-Yes, I do! Uma, you don't have to be like mom, she used evil to fight for what she wanted and she lost! You don't have to lose.... just, stop this," Carmalita gestured to the boat full of wary passengers.

"I.... I can't-,"

"Yes, y-you can," Carmalita reached her hand out to her.

"Just co-come back with me. Please,"

Uma hesitated before taking her hand.

"I'm sorry,"

Carmalita felt her place something in her hand, before her sister disappeared under the surf.

She stared at area where Uma had once been, contemplating wether she should go after he or not...

She turned back to the ship, her form becoming smaller and smaller as she turned back to her normal form.

She struggled to swim to the latter, her right arm stinging in the salt water and her left hand closed around Ben's ring, but she managed.

When she reached the top she was met with cheers and a somewhat crushing hug from Gil.

She winced when he rubbed against her arm, causing him to let her go. He smiled sheepishly.

She smiled back but turned to Ben before she could say anything.

She handed him the ring nodding at him before turning back around.

Gil led her over to the first aid kit that was in the wall, and wrapped some gauze around her wound.

When he finished he brought her arm to his mouth and kissed the gauze.

She blushed brightly, laughing as she grabbed his hand with her free arm. He laughed with her, letting her drag him onto the dance floor as everyone began to sing and dance.

In the heat of the moment, everything that happened was forgotten; The isle, the spell, and Uma.

Well.... she was for now anyway.
