Carmalita Sat in her dorm room, continuing to read one of the many books she had stacked next to her.

Belle had given her a library card after learning about her love for reading, so now she got new books almost everyday.

She jumped slightly when there was a knock on her door.

"Come in!,"

Her stutter had improved a lot too, thanks to Fairy Godmother giving her speech therapy once a week.

The door opened and she looked up, smiling when Gil walked in. The two of them had become closer since the Cotilion last month, they were.... sort of dating now.

I mean, he treated her like they were, calling her have and giving her kisses... so, yeah.

They were dating now.

He sat next to her, draping an arm over shoulder and kissing the side of her head.

She smiled, feeling her cheeks heat up, and closed her book.

"You've been by yourself all day?," He asked, traces circles on her shoulder.

She shook her head.

Ever since they started school he's been worried about her making new friends, not wanting her to be alone all of the time.

"No, Evie went to the l-library with me,"

He looked at her. "Being with Evie doesn't count,"

She sighed and nodded, leaning on her shoulder.

"I know," She looked down.

It's not like she didn't want to make new friends, it just wasn't the easiest thing for her to do.

He squeezed her arm gently.

"It's ok.... you know, you could always join a club or something, to meet new people," He suggested.

She looked up at him.

"Like what?,"

He thought for a moment.

"Um.... book club, art.... cheerleading?," He smirked.

She laughed. "Cheerleading?,"

"Yeah. I bet you'd look cute in the uniform," He winked at her.

She blushed and nudged him, biting her lip. "Shut up,"

-----

Later that day, Carmalita decided to try book club. She took a breath as she walked into the library.

Belle had suggested she do it to, so why not give it a shot?

She sat down at the table where said woman was, along with one other student.

Carmalita hadn't seen him before, but he looked nice enough.

He smiled at her when she sat next to him and she returned it shyly.

Belle smiled at the both of them. "Well, I guess you're the only two to show up. Let's start with names,"

Carmalita felt herself get nervous.

"Have you two met before?,"

They both shook their heads.

"Ok, well, Carmalita, this is Porter Pan  Peter Pan's son. Porter, this is Carmilita, Ursula's daughter,"

The two shook hands, both obviously nervous.

"Now that we all know each other, let's start shall we?,"

-----

When book club ended, Carmalita felt... slightly more confident. Porter was nice, but he didn't talk too much.

"Hey!,"

Speaking of Porter.

Carmalita turned around, smiling at the blonde boy.

He smiled at her and she saw his cheeks tint pink. "U-um... I was wondering, i-if you wanted to hang out later?,"

She hesitated, biting her lip slightly.

"S-sure,"

He seemed taken aback by her response, but grinned. "C-cool! Um.... we could m-meet at the library.... Saturday?,"

She nodded.

Today was Thursday and she didn't have any plans for the whole week, so that would be good.

-----

When she got back to her dorm, Gil was sitting on her bed.

"How'd it go?," He asked. She sat next to him, smiling.

"It was fun.... this guy, Porter invited me to hang out this Saturday,"

She saw his face fall slightly. "Porter who?,"

"Porter Pan, Peter Pan's son," She frowned slightly. "Is something wrong?,"

"It's not like.... a date, right?,"

She quickly shook her head.

"No, no, of course not. He was just being nice," She reassured, grabbing his hand.

He squeezed it, smiling in relief.

"Ok," He kissed the top of her head, wrapping arms around her.

A thought nagged her in the back of her mind.

Was Porter just being nice? Or did he think the hang out was something more?
