Emma's POV

It has been a week since Killian and I kissed, but he once again is keeping his distance from me. Though its because he is making sure that Neal comes nowhere near me.

"So Neal attacked you, Killian saves you, you stay at his house, then you guys kiss, then he takes you home, then you see our teacher leaving your house, and then you tell him it was a one time thing...... Why do I always miss stuff like this when I help out at my father's store." August says.

"This has never happened before." I say.

"Okay so what does that mean for you and Killian how has it been going? Do you guys talk? Has he tried to kiss you again? Why am I acting like a girl?" He asks.

"Look Killian and I are just I guess study buddies or something like that. We talk sometimes, but now he hasnt tried to kiss me again. As for why your acting like a girl I have no clue." I say.

"Okay... Just so you know Killian is walking over." He says.

"Hey Swan... and August." Killian says.

"Oh hey." I say

"Listen I think you need to do something about this Neal thing." He says.

"Killian no. I told you and my dad this before Im not doing anything. So just drop it I'll be okay." I say placing my hand on his arm.

"I dont want you to be just okay. I want you to be safe. Just think about it." He says touching my hand that is on his arm.

"Ummm I have to go." I say and pull my hand away.

I walked into the bathroom and took a deep breath. This whole thing is so weird. I splashed water on my face and then someone walked into the bathroom.

"Hello there Killian thief." Milah says.

"Im sorry. What?" I question.

"Your little smart girl act, drop it. You stole my boyfriend. Who knew the nerd of the school was also a boyfriend stealing slut." She says.

"Okay Milah back off. Leave her alone before I tell everyone about you and..." Regina says.

"Ugh..."Milah says and walked out.

"I didnt need your help. Plus I thought you hated me." I say.

"Im not being nice to you because I want to Im doing it because Killian told me to." She says.

"Killian why would he tell you to do that?" I ask.

"Because he saw Milah walking in here after you. He also blacked mailed me into helping. Hey does he know any of your secrets because he'll use them against you." She says.

"Well thanks... So was she Killian's girl?" I ask not wanting to know the answer.

"No he went out with her once, she wasnt fun enough. Now you he has fun with. I dont see how, but he does." She says.

"Umm okay." I say.

I walked out and Killian just walked over to me and grabbed my hand and pulled me into the empty hallway.

"She didnt hurt you did she?" He asks.

"No Regina was nice for some reason." I say.

"Not her. Milah." He says.

"She said you were her's and called me a boyfriend stealing slut." I say.

"Okay well Milah is delusional. Now come on." He says.

"Killian we have about 3 classes left. Im not ditching." I say.

"Swan... Milah and Neal both want to most likely hurt you. I cant let that happen. So you either come with me or..." He says.

"Or you'll blackmail me like you do to others." I say.

"Woah... Hey I only blackmailed Regina because she wouldnt help me. I would never do that to you. Cant you just trust me." He says holding out his hand.

I didnt even think. I took his had and left with him. Why does Killian do this stuff to me? Though he wants me safe... He is so.... Dont you dare finish that thought Emma. Killian is so cute... God damn it. I think I might have a small crush on Killian.
