Chapter 28

Emma's POV

Something was wrong with Killian he has been acting weird for the last couple hours. He and I are usually goofing around as we bowl and today he is just sitting in silence and just looking at me.

"Okay what going on?" I ask him.

"Nothing." Killian says looking away from me.

"Thats a lie. You were okay yesterday, but ever since you ditched school this morning you have been weird." I say.

"Just drop it Swan." He says.

"No Im not gonna drop it. I care to much about you to let you act this way. Now tell me whats going on." I say.

"Okay fine. I lied I didnt go to Liam I went to your father. He gave me a choice and now I dont know what to do." He says.

"Why did you go to my father? Killian you know he hates you. He hates us." I say.

"I know, but I know that you and him were once close and it hurt me to think I ruined that. I thought I could help fix it, but I failed." He says.

"What choice to do you have to make?" I ask.

"I rather not say." He says.

"What choice do you have to make?" I ask again.

"Fine. Either you and I stay together and you lose him or we break up and you get your father back. I am so sorry Swan. I want to be with you, but I know how much your father means to you. Now do you see why this is so hard for me." He says.

"He wants you to break my heart?" I question.

"Yes, but I dont want to." He says.

"Take me to my house now. I'll explain in the car." I say.

We got into his car and I angrily got our and slammed the car door.

"Swan please dont be mad at me." Killian says.

"And why not!" I yell at him.

"Swan I didnt mean it." He says walking closer to me.

"Oh so you just happen not to mean that you were just using me this whole time to get some chick jealous. Well you know what. Go with your slut because we are through!" I yell amd smack him before go into my house.

I looked at the window and saw Killian drive away.

"Emma? Are you okay?" My dad asks.

"Well you got your wish Killian now means nothing to me. I'll be in my room. I just want to be alone now." I say.

"As long as your home thats all that matters." He says.

I went up to my room and locked the door. I then opened the window and Killian climbed through.

"Im sorry I yelled at you. God Im so sorry for smacking you." I say placing my hand on his cheek.

"Its okay love. Now we can be together and he will never know." He says.

"Killian this means we cant even be together at school just here in my locked room." I say.

"We can also be at my house Liam wont tell David also we can still be see because your still my tutor till the end of the year." He says.

"Thats true. I guess he cant stop that." I say.

"Hey Emma I just want you to know that I love you and I never want to let you go." He says.

"Well lucky for you, you dont have to and I love you too." I say and kiss him.

Yes we have to hide our love for the town now just to make my father happy. Im just glade I get to keep Killian in my life because I cant picture myself with anyone else.
