LeShawn left days ago I wanna say I've stop counting. I was sitting on the couch facing the school doors staring forward.
I remember when students would come through those doors every morning but it's all gone now. We have to move forward, right? Even if you don't want to.
I heard light foot steps coming up behind me but I didn't care enough to turn around.
The person came around the couch and sat next to me. Barrett.
I stood silent and so did he. I already knew what he was gonna say and he knew what I would answer. Silent conversations. We just sat there gathering each others presence. He moved in closer to me. I silently laid my head on his shoulder again.
