*HELION*{SEQUEL TO SWITCHBACK!}

*Five*

Tron finally took us thru the front gates of Deltar...we all looked around, but we couldn't see much in the vast darkness...he told us that he was just going to take us to an empty lodge for us to sleep then he would come get us in the morning and give us the tour...and let us meet their leader. He opened the door to an empty cabin-like building that had bedding material and a few lanterns for light...then he took his leave. Three of his men, however, came in and handed us drink and food...then left as well. We all quickly made the beds and put the kids down first...then we all decided that it was safe for us to sleep...and we all crashed with our wives wrapped in our arms.

Morning came early for me...because Johnny was looking right at me...crossing his little legs...saying he had to go potty...and that mommy and daddy didn't want to get up yet...I gave him a little smile and got up from Klayton's arms and helped him get his little buckles off...then noticed an old-fashioned privy in the back part of the cabin..and took him to it...so he could take care of business...Klayton woke up when he noticed me gone...and jumped up in a slight panic...but when he saw me bring Johnny out of the bathroom...while snapping his buckles back on...he relaxed...and told me to hurry up and lay back down with him...that he was getting lonely and chilly under our light blanket.

Johnny said thanks, then scampered back over to Rachel and Criss...and snuggled up in between them...and was back asleep instantly...I crawled back into my hubby's arms and asked him if we were going to be safe here in Deltar. Klayton smiled down at me and told me that he truly believed we were going to be just fine here...because these people seemed to be more human like us...then those other creeps from Helion. Shortly after I fell asleep again in Klayton's strong embrace...Tron knocked on the door and asked if any of us were ready for the day.

Klayton kissed me, then jumped up and headed out the door...Criss, Sully, Ashley, Andy, and Jinnx got up shortly after and followed him out the door. All us girls stayed in the cabin with the kids...until we were sent for...because they had one weird rule about the men being dominant... and that the women were the weaker sex...and needed to be protected at all costs. Tron gave Klayton and the men the grand tour...then as he was leading them to where the leader of the Ravagers was...he asked him how they managed to escape Helion...when Klayton told them about brute force, and the intelligence of swiping two of their air mobiles...and that they had a wrist band with their field opener on it...Tron turned to Klayton and told him that the information he just shared with him...could possibly make him the new King of Deltar...for no Ravager that has been taken prisoner on Helion, has ever survived long enough to escape...and when they did attempt to escape...they were killed instantly.

Tron walked thru the large hall keeping Klayton right next to him...with the others following shortly behind him...Tron stopped us, then took three steps forward and dropped a knee...and said loudly and clearly that he has brought newcomers to Deltar...and that they were survivors from Helion...and that we were interested in joining the Ravagers...fighting against the Helionites...so that we all could regain our birthright...and homeland. Then the massive chair spun around and a young man stood up from the chair...and walked down to where we all were standing...and looked us all over up and down without speaking a word.

Then he pulled Tron to him and asked if he was sure they weren't enemy spies...Klayton stepped forward and gave him his word that we were no spies...that we came from another realm...and were brought here thru some kind of time portal...and added that we had families...like normal humans...and a dog and cat of all things...he turned to Klayton with excited eyes and said we had pets...but he changed the subject again and asked again how we escaped Helion's defenses...and made it all the way to Deltar without dying from the hideous ground creatures that stalked the night. Klayton gave a sigh and told the story again...to this so-called king...then asked if he and his family would be safe here.

The King gave a pleasing laugh and said we were very welcome here in Deltar...then looked at Klayton and said he was going to be the new captain of the guard, which put him right under Tron in leadership...then King Tal told Tron that his first business was to go back into the desert and bring those air vehicles to Deltar so they could check them out...and see if it was possible for them to duplicate them...so we would have better traveling and more protection...and as for the forcefield unlocking device...he wanted the master mechanics in electronics to check it out as well...and maybe we could make a weapon that could permanently destroy their invisible wall...and for once make them crawl. Klayton handed Tron the wristband...then said that he would go with them in retrieving the air vehicles...because he remembered where they left them.

Criss and Sully said they weren't letting Klayton leave without them...Klayton told the others in his family to get back to our family and let them know that we found our new home. King Tal quickly asked Tron where we he had us staying...when Tron told him...he told him hastily that they needed better quarters than that...then told him to bring the family to the palace...and give them rooms in it...Tron clicked his heels and bowed his head...then took us all out of the palace...and said that King Tal accepted all of us not only as allies...but as part of the kingdom...even though they were a starving rebel community...we being there gave them all a new since of hope...Tron, Klayton, Criss, and Sully jumped in the land rovers and headed out to the air vehicles so they could drag them back to Deltar...while Ashley, Andy, and Jinnx went back to the lodge...and grabbed all of us and the kids up and took us to the palace.
