*HELION*{SEQUEL TO SWITCHBACK!}

*Twenty*

Klayton was awake playing with his boys when I finally got up and dressed...but he didn't stay around long...he stood up and told his boys to mind me...then he reached over and kissed me and told me he'd be home as soon as he could...then he grabbed his fighting staff...and went to pick up Sully, Sandy, and little Skylar...then they all went to the village outside the palace, and surprised Kim with his news...as he told her he was appointing her Queen and ruler of Jericho...until she married and found a King to her liking...she gave a wild leap into his arms and kissed him on the cheek thanking him for the incredible gift and honor...and that she would be a wise and loving leader and queen.

Klayton gave her a slight smile and told her she better be...or he would be all over her ass...and dethrone her just as quickly as he throned her...Klayton gave a whistle and his dragon burst out of the ground and laid down for all of them to hop on...and he took them to Varian first...for it was closest...where he in front of all the cities people and new warriors...he told them all that Sully was there new king and leader...along with their new queen Sandy...and their little princess Skylar...Skylar gave a little giggle when Klayton made her a little crown for her...Sully went straight to business and appointed one of the warriors his captain of the guard...then made the new rules that Sandy helped him declarate...so it wouldn't sound cheesy.

Klayton wished them the best of luck...and reminded Sully that he was risking himself on the fact that he told Queen Aphelion that he had the man for the job...then told him very seriously not to let him down...then he helped Kim up on his dragon...and headed for Jericho...to appoint the kingdom/city with their new Queen...once they made it into the city the captain of the guard that Klayton left in charge...wasn't happy with him bringing a girl for a man's job...and said he would make a better leader than her...Klayton threw him down to the ground very quickly and had the pointed end of his staff lodged against his throat...and asked him if he was trying to overrule his judgment...he gulped slowly and shook his head no...

Klayton lifted his staff off...and told him he thought not...then he pulled Kim up to the balcony and told the people of Jericho that their new Queen was here...and she was the best one for the job...and she would rule just as wisely and as lovingly as any king would...then he gently placed the crown on her head...and kissed her on the cheek and wished her the best of luck...then he grabbed the guard he appointed and asked him if he was going to cause her any trouble...or if he was going to accept her leadership...and be loyal to her. He stood up and clicked his heels to Klayton and said that he was ordered by Queen Aphelion to take orders from his new leader no matter who it was...and he would do so with loyalty and love...Klayton let him go and told him he'd better...or he would have to face his wrath...and he didn't think he'd want that at all.

Kim waved bye to him...then immediately gave her orders...and created her laws for her kingdom...Klayton jumped up on his dragon and gave a slight smile to himself...and said he may have given up his chance to be a King...but hell...he was the true king of the entire planet of Atiria...because there was no one that could kill him...he was the only one of his kind...and if he wanted to...he could take over Helion himself and be master of everything...but that's not what he wanted...he was happy with being his own king...the rogue, rebel warrior...with no leader...except for his wife...he'd let me lead him anytime...and there wasn't anywhere he wouldn't go to follow her lead.

It was once again dark when he finally made it home to me...and I welcomed him with open arms...and drowned him with kisses...and told him how much I loved him...he walked with me into our kid's room and looked in on them as they slept...then he casually lifted me up and carried me into our bedroom...where we shared the night of passion before falling asleep in each other's arms. 

Weeks went by and turned into months...when finally Klayton got word from Queen Aphelion telling him it was time for the final war...Klayton got up and kissed me goodbye but promised me this was the last time he was going to leave me...he hugged both of his boys and told them to behave for me while he was gone...then just as soon as he was there...he was gone again...only this time all the soldiers from Doktari followed him out...then when he went thru Varian, Deltar, and Jericho...all the Warriors came out to join him...with Criss, Sully, and Kim's captain of the guard...to follow him into the battle of Helion...they stopped just outside the force field of Helion...where Queen Aphelion was out with all of her armies waiting for her command...but she couldn't do anything until Klayton got there...for he was the only one that could open the force field.

Klayton jumped off his dragon and walked inside the force field and held it open...as all their armies flowed into the massive kingdom of Helion...the battle lasted for several months...but with Klayton taking the lead...they all made it out successfully...and Queen Aphelion took her place in her kingdom...and all the poison of the evil king was washed away...Criss, Sully, and Kim's captain of the guard made it back to their kingdoms safely...Queen Aphelion asked Klayton if he was sure he didn't want to live on Helion with her...as her King...Klayton said he was his own king...and his Queen and two princes were waiting back at home on Doktari for him...and he's been gone from my side for far too long now...he gave her a bow...and hopped on his dragon...and raced nonstop until he made it to the palace where I was waiting for him...he finally made it into my arms and told me he was home...and never leaving me again...both of his boys crawled up on his arms...as he held me close and put me in a dip and said Hail to the King baby...then he laid a huge kiss on me...then he asked me if I was his Queen...I giggled at him and told him I'd always be his queen...& he'd always be my King.
