*Six*

King Tal welcomed us warmly...as he personally showed us to our new chambers in the castle...and as soon as he noticed Sandy was with child and expecting very soon...he assigned two of his nursemaids to stay with her when it came time for the delivery...just to make sure everything went smoothly. After we were all settled into our new homes...King Tal showed us where all the children were kept during the day...so they could play together...while the parents did their chores for the community...then he told us ladies that each person carried their weight to keep Deltar from falling apart...and the ladies jobs were to take care of the children, do the cooking, house cleaning, and keeping their men happy...and nothing more. It was the Men's job to keep Deltar going and safe at all times.

Siera and Dani noticed immediately how King Tal was eyeing me...but they didn't say anything...Tal gave us ladies all a bow...and took his leave and left us girls in the large room where all the other ladies were sitting, and staring at us because of our strange garb we were wearing...but was pleased when they saw we had children...and offered us to join them. We all introduced ourselves...the beautiful lady dressed in the fanciest dress gave a slight bow and said that she was Lady Catherine...King Tal's head wife, then she introduced her friends from left to right...and said that Lady Victoria and Lady Angelica were King Tal's second and third wive's. Then she introduced us to Kimberly and said she was Tron's sister. 

Rachel inquisitively asked why the King had so many wives...Lady Catherine said that he wanted children...and she was originally from Helion...and couldn't bear him any...so he married two others...of her choosing...to give him children. We all looked at the kids in the playpen and asked if they were all his children...Lady Catherine smiled at us and said yes...three of them belonged to Lady Victoria...and the other two belonged to Lady Angelica, then added that the other families children that lived outside the palace kept their children into their own play area...that only the royal children were allowed in the castle. We quickly grabbed our children and got ready to take them out...but Catherine gave us a reassuring smile and told us that our children and family were royalty now...for King Tal knighted the one called Klayton and made him the new Captain of the guard...so he and his family were part of the castle.

Angelica asked which one of us if any of us belonged to Klayton...I stood up and told them that he was my husband. But even though she belonged to the king...she had a secret desire for Criss...but she kept it to herself...knowing that Rachel was his...and that they had a child together already. Sandy was being escorted by her two assigned nursemaids Nellie, and Rose...making sure she didn't hurt herself...or went into labor without them. I watched as our kids played with the new kids in the pen...and watched as my friends tried to make friends with the new ladies. Me, I just walked to the open window in the castle and stared out the window hoping that Klayton and the others would just get back safely.

Meanwhile, back in the middle of the desert...Klayton and Criss were pushing one of the air vehicles onto the buggies...while Tron and Sully were trying to load the other one...when they noticed how the weight of the two vehicles made the buggies a lot slower...they realized that they would have to make two separate trips because carrying the weight at once they would never make it back to Deltar before the sun fell. But Klayton told Tron that we would get them as close as we could before dropping them off and peeling home before night time covered the land. Tron looked at one of the air vehicles...and noticed a strange device he's never seen before...and lifted it up to analyze it.

Criss took it and handed it to Sully...he grinned and said he thought for sure he lost it...Tron looked at him and asked him what it was...Sully began to play wildly on it...as Klayton told him it was a guitar...a very awesome musical instrument. Tron looked at it and slowly touched the strings as they created lovely sounds. They got halfway back from their journey when the sun finally began to sleep...Criss, Klayton, and Sully quickly unloaded the two vehicles and jumped back onto the buggy and headed back to Deltar...before the creatures could come out and kill them all. Sandy, Rachel and I were beginning to get very worried for our husbands...when we saw the moon begin to rise in the night sky...and they still haven't returned to the safety of the city.

King Tal came into my room and told me not to worry...that my husband was a very strong and determined man...and he would come back for me...but before he left he touched my hand a little insecuring and told me if there was ever a time that he didn't come back to me...that he would be honored to take care of me...then he quickly left the room...and went into his own chambers...even though the King's heart may have been in good spirits...just the thought of being his fourth wife...made my stomach curdle, and my heart sink merely thinking of Klayton not coming home to me...as I touched my tummy that held our two sons...then I shook it off and told myself that it would never happen...my Sexy sly fox would always come home to me.

Rachel was in her room holding Johnny in her arms worrying about Criss...but shortly after I made it to her...we all heard the Ravagers praising the return of them...Rachel and I both ran to the window and saw Criss and Klayton safe and sound along with Sully and Tron...but with no air vehicles. Klayton passed all of the other Ravagers and flew thru the castle searching for me...then he grabbed me and spun me in a circle and apologized for being away from me for so long...then he rubbed my tummy and kissed it as he carried me back to our room, where as I lay in his arms I told him everything that happened while he was gone...and what the king said to me tonight. Klayton rolled on top of me and told me I'd never have to worry about that...because he would always come back to me.
