*HELION*{SEQUEL TO SWITCHBACK!}

*Eighteen*

It didn't take Klayton long to get his group of loyal brothers to the city of Deltar...but just before they entered the city to kill all who opposed his new authority...Klayton held out his hands to each of his brothers and magically adamantium body armor covered each of them...then he pulled away from them and told them it was for the ultimate protection...then they each had their own dragon to ride...and they raided the city only attacking the soldiers...and leaving the civilians...as soon as King Tal saw Klayton leading the small battalion of men...he ran deep into the palace behind the secret doors...trying to barricade he and his wives along with his children for safety...with a dozen guards in between them and him.

After two hours of endless battling...Klayton and his brothers came out successful, for none of the soldiers were up to dying for a tyrant king...so instead they yielded and followed Klayton instead...so that they and their families would be safe. Klayton and his dragon stormed the palace...and searched for the cowardly King Tal...it didn't take his dragon long to sniff him out...he broke thru the walls and landed almost right into his lap...with his wives screaming for mercy while holding their children...Klayton told Criss and Sully to escort Lady Catherine, Lady Angelica, Lady Victoria, and the kids out of the palace...that wasn't to be harmed...but when King Tal tried to make a run for it Klayton instantly hurled him up against the wall with his adamantium tentacles that came out from his armor...and entangled him with them to leave him immobile...then he slowly made his armor remove itself from his face and upper body to show the King who he was defeated by...then he walked toward him and asked him with bitter irony if he remembered him...then said cynically that paybacks were such a bitch.

Klayton carried him all thru the Palace until he made it to the balcony that faced the entire city and its people...with his free hand he removed the crown from his head...then told the people of Deltar...that there was a new King in town...and either they could accept that...or they could leave to another city...but King Tal was just going to say his final goodbyes...for he wasn't worthy of leadership, a crown, or a life...and after he said that...Klayton gave him a wicked grin and waved bye to him...then with his tentacles he pulled him apart and tossed his remains over the edge...then he looked at the people and asked if any of them had any disagreements with his decision...and out of respect or fear they all said no.

Klayton then did something Criss and Sully didn't expect...instead of placing the crown on his head...he slowly placed the crown on Criss's head...then told everyone that their new King was there...they all looked up to Criss and bowed to him and said in unison Hail to our new king!! King Crisstopher!!...Criss looked at Klayton in total shock and said he knew nothing of ruling a city or kingdom!...Klayton smiled at him and said neither did he...but one thing he was sure of...that he'd make a better king than him...Sully said he would go and get his family and bring them to him...because he had a kingdom to run...but as they left Tron decided to stay by Criss's side and offered his service to him...just as he did for the previous King.

Criss accepted him gladly...and told him that he could advise him on things he didn't know about...Tron turned to him and asked him what he wanted to do about the late king's wives and their children...if he wanted to have them exiled or what...Criss looked at him and asked him what was wrong with letting them remain as maidens of the palace...for their children didn't do anything wrong...for they were all merely toddlers themselves...and they didn't do anything wrong either...except for being stuck with a tyrant king and husband. Tron bowed his head in agreement...and said he was going to be an amazing king to be ruled by...then he left his side to give further instructions to his soldiers...and let them know they were under a new commander...with very new rules.

Lady Catherine went over to Tron and asked what the King was going to do with them...Tron smiled at her and said nothing...that they all were free to do as they've always done...and was welcome to remain in the palace as Maidens of it. Lady Victoria asked who was going to take care of them now that Tal was dead...Tron looked at them and said they were free to marry whomever they wanted...but he looked to Lady Catherine and told her that he would be more than honored to take care of her...that he's always deeply cared for her...she moved to him and gave him a hug and kiss on the cheek and said she would be honored to have the brave Captain of the guard as her man...for she always believed that he was more of a man than the king could ever hope to be.

Sully finally made it back to Doktari...but when he came into the city alone all of us girls panicked...until Sully assured us that all went perfectly...and King Tal was dead...then he looked at Rachel and Johnny and told her that he had orders from the new King of Deltar...to bring his family to him...Rachel looked at him like he has gone and lost what was left of his mind...until he laughed at our expressions and said that Klayton placed the crown upon Criss's head...and gave him rulership over the kingdom of Deltar. Sully bowed his head down...and asked if Queen Rachel was ready to go to her king...Rachel giggled at the thought of being an actual Queen...and placed her hand into Sully's hand and said she was so ready to go...then Sully grabbed Johnny and said what about you little prince...Johnny giggled too and said yea.

I ran over to Sully and asked him where Klayton was...Sully came close to my ear and told me that he went back to the underground paradise where Queen Aphelion was...to tell her that Deltar had a new king...and that he was allies with her and her cause...and that he told him to tell me that he would be home before darkness fell...I gave him a slight smile and thanked him...then watched as he took my friend out of the city...as I was holding my two boys...that was wondering why we all weren't going too.
