I laughed, consumed in the most happiness I've felt since the first time I entered this apartment and had this amazing feeling of hope run through my body. There's something about being around this group of friends. They all love each other so much, everyone wants to help one another.
The best is David. He's amazing, and cares about me. No matter what it is, he's there. I swear he'd help me rob a bank if I asked him to. He does the same for Killian. I'm shocked he helps me out, you'd think he'd been closer with Milah.
Reality snapped back as Killian sat next to me, nuzzling into my neck and nipping at the back of my ear. I leaned into the touch, grinning brightly, "Easy there," I whispered, eyes darting around the room. Everyone seems consumed in their own conversations, but I'm not one for public affection. Killian... is. Killian is very into public affection. Or anything that has to do with kissing, or hugging, or snuggling... Anyway, I'd kiss him anywhere if It means we can be together.
"Alright, alright," he kissed my cheek, wrapping his arm around me and squeezing me closer. I rested my head on his shoulder, taking in the scent. It's not natural like his brother's, he's got more colange. It's wonderful, and it's so Killian. Everything is so Killian.
The door swung open, and in came Ruby, "I heard it was pizza night!!" She said, her voice already slightly slurred. She slammed it shut, rushing over and plopping down in a chair, "Look at you two!" She swung her beer bottle in Kilian and I's direction.
I could feel my cheeks growing red and I shifted uncomfortably. Everyone laid their eyes on the two of us. Thanks, Ruby. I nodded, "Don't need to stare, guys. It's... okay," I muttered, wanting to shrink and hide in Killian's side.
No public affection or attention, please.
Killian chuckled, burying his face in my hair, nudging his nose lightly against it. I shoved him away jokingly. He pouted, moving his arm from me.
"Such a lover, Killian!" Regina giggled, throwing a meatball in his direction. It had been cleaned off, missing him and landing on my lap.
I squealed in surprise, "Gross!" I yelled, throwing it against the floor. It bounced like a ball spontaneously, "What are these things made of?"
Everyone shrugged, "Feel free to ask old lady Sam," Robin caught the meatball, tossing it into a trash bag sitting promptly on the floor.
"I'd rather not," I laughed, standing to peer out the window. Old lady Sam, the woman that runs the italian place, was sticking on cane against a poor kid's chest, yelling at him for some reason or another. I shook my head, laughing slightly before sitting back with Killian.
He yawned and rested his head against me. I wrapped my hand around his head, patting it lightly, "I've had a long day, you guys are bound to lose me soon," he mumbled.
I nodded in agreement, "Can we just go snuggle?" I whispered, feeling my eyes begin to droop.
"We can do whatever you want, love."
How much I wish there weren't five people sitting around us right now. I wrapped my arms around Killian, hugging his chest, closing my eyes and shifting to comfortably sit.
"I think it's time we head to bed," Killian moved me off him, standing up. Everyone mumbled in agreement.
Ruby whimpered, "I just got here, early birds!"
"Not your fault you were late," Regina grunted, "and I agree. Sleep sounds like a great idea."Mary Margaret hugged Ruby, "Thanks for stopping by," she smiled, grabbing her beer from her.
I muttered goodnights to everyone and trudged up the stairs. Killian followed after, almost racing me. I slowed, just to see what he did. I heard a small chuckle behind me, "I'm sorry, love, I'm just eager to sleep in a comfortable bed, actually, I'm eager to sleep, period," he rubbed my hand apologetically.
