Chapter 15

My date with Alex went just fine after that call. I was still thinking about it all night. After me and her watched a couple of movies she fell asleep in my arms.

I turned off the TV and just laid next to her while she slept the night away with no clue about what's going on.

My arms around her waist. Her body against mine. I hope I don't lose this, I can't. I won't allow it. But even with that in mind all I could think about was my manager and what he said.

It's the next day and I'm still trying to figure out if I should turn around and forget about him. He told me to meet him and I'm on my way but I don't even want to see him right now.

Before I even know it, I'm out the car walking into his office.

"Niall what the hell did I tell you?!" I can hear the rage in his voice as I enter the room.

"I didn't mean for people to find out." I say as I sit down on the chair in front of his desk.

"You didn't mean for people to find out? God, Niall you knew that you weren't going to be able to hide her for long!" He says getting up and putting his hands on his forehead.

"I-"

"Niall save it! You get rid of her now!" I'm not gonna do that. I do not take orders from him even if he's my manager, I won't not with her.

"No."

"What did you say?" He says turning to me.

"I said, no! I'm not going to get rid of her because of you! I'm not going to get rid of my only happiness! I'm tired of this, of you. You can't tell me who I'm allowed to date. You won't! I won't allow it! I make my own decisions and jesus if I needed parenting I would've just gone back home! You are my manager for the band, not for my everyday life." I say getting out of my chair looking him straight in the eyes.

I could tell he heard the anger in my voice as he has decided to shut up.

"You will not rob me of my happiness or rather hers, she lost everything! I'm all she's got. I'm not leaving her and that's final." I say while he sits and listens.

"She will ruin the band Niall. You are supposed to be single. And arrangements have been made for you to date Selena. I'm not cancelling that. Either you leave her or you get fired."

"So be it, fire me I don't care. I rather have her than be famous. I will make sure the whole world knows she's mine. I love her! For gods sake you are asking me to leave behind someone I love. I don't care if the whole world knows about her because maybe I just want them to know. If you think you are gonna make me leave her you're wrong. Goodbye Thomas." I say getting ready to exit the door.

"Niall!" He says which brings me to a stop.

"If you walk out that door, you will not, and I repeat WILL NOT be part of that band and I will make sure that you get destroyed!" He really thinks I care? I don't turn around and I don't speak, I just open the door and leave.

How am I gonna tell the boys?

L= Dude what the hell?

N= What?

L= Why did you do that? You sacrificed everything for a girl?

N= Louis shut up, you know damn well that if it was Harry you would leave everything behind.

H= Wow what's going on?

L= Our pal Niall has just gotten fired!

H= What?

L= Yep, he got in a fight with Thomas, pictures of Alex and Niall are all over the place. Thomas said that he's firing Niall, he's no longer part of the band. He ruined the band.

H= Wow, Niall why?

N= He was asking me to leave Alex! What other choice do I have?!? Leave the girl I love or stay with someone who is controlling everything I do?! The choice was pretty clear.

H= Guys calm down! The band isn't ruined. We will figure this out. Niall had good intentions, he didn't want to hurt Alex but obviously that came with a price. I'll try to talk to Thomas about this and convince him on keeping Niall.

L= And that is why I love Harry.

N= What if I don't want back in?

L= What?!

H= What do you mean Nialler, why wouldn't you?

N= Thomas is too controlling, I'm not going back to that.

P= You guys know that Thomas can't fire any of us, right?

L= What?

P= Remember how after Zayn left we had to sign another form?

N= Yeah.

L= Yep, I remember.

H= Yeah so?

P= Well if you guys had taken the time to read it, it stated that if any of us felt too controlled at any moment, like Zayn did may I restate thats why he left the band, that we could fire our manager but he could never fire us. If you guys really don't like Thomas you could fire him.

N= Are you serious?!

L= WHAT?! AND TO THINK THIS ENTIRE TIME WE COULD'VE FIRED THAT BASTARD

N= Louis you were just hating on me for getting into an argument with him yet you hate him? What?

L= I only got mad at you because you didn't think about us when you left that room and how you would ruin us if you left...

N= Well sorry if I was just trying to get away.

H= Aren't we forgetting one thing?

L= Nope not really it's all solved now, we fire him.

N= Yeah like Louis said.

P= You can all thank me later.

N= For what?

P= For the information!

N= Oh yeah, thankssss

H= Guys! We can't fire him if we don't have a back-up person.

L= Fuck

P= Well what about Paul? He's been with us since the beginning. He's nice.

N= Yeah maybe. I don't care who you get just fire Thomas and get someone who doesn't control us like puppets.

L= Agreeing with Niall on that.

H= Yeah Liam, seems like you have got it all figured out.

At least he's going to be gone now. No more controlling. No more sadness. No more Thomas.
