His eyes snapped open and he jerked forward. He glanced at the time telling device. Did he almost miss it? Yes, almost. Thanks to the sudden electrical pulse shock delivered by the neural implants in his brain, he was awake from a deep sleep, though he had missed the high pitched sonorous sound they called 'alarm' emitted from the time teller.

It was always the same. Whenever he was near oversleeping, the artificial neural implants - installed in his brain since when he didn't remember- discharged a high frequency electrical pulse shock into his brain, for just a millisecond- enough to freak him out and freeze his mind. And wake him up. At times, he cursed the thing. But today, he was thankful to it.

He got up from his bed, his dark brown hair covering the bump on his forehead. The thing had protuded suddenly one night, and he had seen one on his dad's forehead, and on the forehead of all the adult males, but little did he know what it was, except that it was a sign of puberty - a fact told to him by people, for he had no idea what this "puberty" was ( he never had any interest in biology). But he was sure that this 'puberty' was something good. Or at least he hoped so. But then, many of his classmates didn't have the bump, and he had never seen one on the forehead of a female...
He hurried to the washroom, got fresh, took a quick shower and got dressed up. He couldn't be late for it.

When Pastor Regretto had first got his set of books for IXth class, among physics, maths and other subjects, he was amazed to find an entirely new set- 'universe'. Among other books in the set, there was one particular book that attracted him the most. Titled       "the blue planet", the book had a super cool attractive cover page.

And like always, he was curious. Curious to know more about the planet. Curious to know what secrets it held. Curious to know why there was an entire book on a single planet.

And today was the day all his questions would be answered. Today he would be taught about the planet. He could not miss school today.
He rushed to get his school bag, and checked one last time - he had already checked five times before- if he had kept the book for sure. It was there, of course, and Pastor grabbed his hoverboard and made a mad dash for the main door. After a quick retina  scan, the door opened, and Pastor jumped on his hoverboard and took off, without informing his mom. The door closed behind him.

But Mrs. Regretta was a calm and gentle woman. Who loved peace - and silence. And she didn't mind it in the least if his son left without informing her. She never did. Her husband in the office - he worked in the tech    department- and his son in school, she could finally relax, and watch her favorite shows, plays and songs, all while drinking her all time favorite - the cold cuisine, with crispy cocoa chips.

Once he hit the road, pastor began calculations. Distance he had travelled -  24.8 metres in time - 5.2 seconds. At this rate, his approximate speed would be - 4.7692307693 m/s.
"Let's take that 5 m/s." He muttered to himself. He was going unexpectedly fast. Not that he could help it.
The hoverboard was designed to make direct contact with the brain, and currently his mind was thinking of speed. Only speed.

Then again, his calculations or assumptions could've been wrong. But that was seldom the case. He knew he would be on the school gate by 50.49 seconds.

Wrong. The exact time was 50.92 seconds. A slight mistake - it was still
50. But a huge one for Pastor.

He remembered the last time he had made a calculation mistake was when he was in 2nd class, in a problem of addition - for he was excited to get a new hoverboard.

That was it. Factors like emotions, hurry, excitement, fear, etc made his calculations wrong. But his childish nature, for some reason, did not seem to have any effect on it.

Anyways, he was still on the school gate 6 minutes early.

" Don't blame factors, Pastor." He widened his eyes.

" A small mistake," a small grin spread on his face, "can be deadly sometimes."

The grin faded away as he ran towards the 16 floors high building in front of him with supercooled silicon oxide covering it's exterior, on which the words were embossed "SCHOOL". He had a habit of talking to himself. Every genius has.

Hey guys so how was it? Plz wait patiently I might publish next part tomorrow or by day after tomorrow. Thank you. Please vote and comment
