Hey guyzzz! Here's the next part. Took me long enough, right? Well, sorry, u know, I am just 14 years old, and 'school' takes 6 hours of my life everyday. Also, dis part may have many mistakes, so, if you find them, plz tell me in the comments section.
Let's get started..."Well, well. I know you all are excited, students," Amanda said cheerfully, " but please Co operate a little. Pretty please?"
Her voice had been so sweet that the class was already quiet, mesmerized, listening to her. But Pastor was not affected in any way - the reason, well, he himself didn't know.
Nevertheless, the effect was the same. He was quiet, as was the rest of the class.
Hardy turned to face the class.
"Now, first, we will learn about the basic geographical composition of the blue planet - or, as the residents call it, Earth.""Earth..." Pastor repeated in a low voice as a childish smile spread on his face. The smile, of curiosity. The smile, of excitement.
Amanda went near a white, pillar like structure with discoidal end points that almost reached her waist - A Primary Holographic Projector. She pressed the tiny button at the very top of the end point.
As soon as she did, the pillar glowed cyan-blue for a fraction of a minute, and then a huge sphere was projected out of it into mid-air, almost 5 times larger than the professor herself.
Pastor had read about how the thing worked. It actually projected light in many directions, which in turn was reflected and it 'looked' as if the hologram was formed in mid air. But that doesn't mean one couldn't project a hologram in mid air; it could easily be done through a Secondary Holographic Projector.
"This... Is Earth!" Exclaimed the professor, hands on waist, staring at the majestic sphere.
Pastor observed the planet, a majority of which was only blue - perhaps the reason it was known as The Blue Planet in Szezkaban; it also had large areas of green, brown and sometimes white. In the extreme South, he noticed a distinct white area.
" Now, the blue area you see here," the Prof. Suddenly began, "is all dihydrogen oxide. In fact, nearly 80 percent of the planet is only dihydrogen oxide."
Every single student of the class was surprised by the statement. pastor gasped. Dihidrogen Oxide! the compound essential for survival, in such abundance!
"The green and brown parts you see, is land. Land covers even less than 21 percent of the planet's total area." Amanda explained, still looking at the hologram. "Any questions?"
"Excuse me, professor. What is the white area at the southernmost point?" Pastor asked, half hoping that he would get some appreciation for his observatory skills.
" That's just land covered with snow," Amanda spoke in a rough voice. Pastor felt disappointed and stupid to have asked the question.
"Umm... Professor?" Someone spoke up, " if Earth has this much of dihydrogen oxide, why don't we try to form an alliance with the dominant species there?"
Hardy turned around. " Just the question I was waiting for!" She exclaimed. Pastor felt irritated. How come the question hadn't come in his mind? He somehow put the feeling aside and listened.
"The main reason for this," explained Amanda, " is the Savage nature of homosapiens - humans, for short - the dominant species of Earth."
"Savage?"
"We have to keep in mind the security of the planet, kid," while she spoke, her light blue eyes didn't seem to blink.
"The humans are a threat to Earth itself. They tend to destroy all life on the planet, whether it is some other species or their own. If we contact them, there is a 95 percent chance they will be hostile towards us."
