ta da! finally, chapter two is here! also, i have been receiving many messages that there are some confusions on the plot of my story. if you have something to tell or ask as well, just comment it or pm me. i will be happy to answer and improve! as i said, i love improving! and answering! and writing! and- AHEM! I beg you pardon, i quite forgot. let's get started -

Something awful had happened - suggested the distress alarms that dimly lit the tech department with the depressive red color. 'RED'- the color, of danger, of destruction.

but what? wondered Pastor, rubbing his eyes, standing in the middle of a walkway from which several men had just passed in a hurry. he struggled to keep his eyes open- for the sake of not getting that...shock, was the word he could think of. had it not been for the neural implants in his brain, he would've long been snoring. and very well, who wouldn't be sleepy at 3 am after a trying day?

someone grabbed his arm, and instinctively, he recognized him to be his father. unwillingly, but having no choice, he followed the direction of the pull, and was led into a huge hall.

The assembly hall was not a place to be underestimated. the only place on the entire planet capable of manipulating space (slipstream space is interplanetary device, so it cannot be used to manipulate space ON a planet.), the place was capable of accommodating all of the Tech. Dept. and more. set in a secret location underground, it was used by the Dept. only for extremely special purposes. it had an elevation on one side with a sound amplifier designed so that the sound passing through it would reach all audience in the hall, but not outside, so as to not reveal it's location.

Pecoris was in hyper stress right now. He just hoped it wasn't his son. no, he couldn't do this... not with his own planet at stake. maybe it was just some coincidence.

then again, if his son HAD, by any chance, committed this blunder, he would try his fullest to save the genius child. for if it was earth, they needed the universal genius more than pecoris.

assured that everyone had arrived and taken a seat, Bubalis Arsene climbed up the elevation and began.

"As we all know," he spoke through the amplifier as his deep voice echoed through the room,

"Earth Has Invaded Our Planet"

the words hit him like a punch in the gut. was it true? soon after, he realized where he was. the secret assembly hall of the T.M.D.(tech and monitoring department is the full form, in case you forgot). it was Pastor's dream to be here. but, sure as he was that now he was fully awake, he felt uncomfortable sitting on his seat due to the circumstances under which the attack had been planned.

"the attack was a minor. Luckily, no lives were lost. but there was a considerable amount of property lost. interestingly, photon conversations were produced two days ago, recorded time ' 23:46 hours'"

pastor gasped. the time matched exactly with the time InPHoBReTraR had received the transmission from earth. they weren't holding HIM responsible, were they?

" and, what is even more shocking is that the one who has committed this horrible crime sits among us, waiting for his name to be called."

excited conversation filled the hall. Pastor closed his eyes. he was going to die.

"Pecoris Regretto, please step on to the stage." Bubalis tried to suppress the sadness within, but could not help letting out a sigh of grief on the familiar name.

did they hear right, wondered the staff, as they waited for the president to call out,'wait, that was a mistake, it ain't pecoris, it is someone else.' but the moment never came. they never heard the statement.
