CH. 1 PART 1

Hey guys! So, as I promised, here is the next part. I am a bit sorry, for in the process of keeping my promise I probably made this one a bit monotonous and dull- yeah, I don't give much thought before making commitments. Well, plz do vote if u like it and comment ur feedback.

"Alright class, now pay attention!"
While she made the statement, Prof. Emilia Fawcett clapped her hands twice out of habit, one that irritated Pastor to no extent. Another reason why he hated biology. Not only was the entire subject totally boring, stupid and pointless, he had got a stupid teacher to teach him- with a stupid habit. Biology just wasn't his field. He was at top in all the subjects, save for biology and general knowledge. Quite opposite to the girl who sat beside him.

Surrexia Rosana was an average when it came to other subjects, but she had biology, Greek and general knowledge at her tips. Being a student with a good reputation, she was still no match for Pastor.

Despite the sharp differences, she had somehow developed a crush on Pastor. He was still unaware of the fact, and, even if he was, he never showed it. And obviously, she thought, if Pastor knew, somehow about her, he also knew how popular he was - among girls, specially.

Pastor was physically weak, but he had never really felt the need to fight- physically, that is. In calculations and quizzes, he had defeated even the Vice -president of the Tech. Department, i.e., his own dad, Pecoris Regretto. The only person known to have defeated him was the president of Tech. Department himself, and that too only by a difference of 0.3 seconds. It had been necessary, back then, for Pastor had grown extremely overconfident of his abilities.

Though Pastor was a reputed genius, whom everyone genuinely respected everywhere, if anyone ever felt the need to fight- with him, he could simply program his hoverboard to kick- rather, chase- the person's butt. But could Pastor be so arrogant?

Wait, arrogant? Surrexia shook her head. 'Arrogant' just didn't sound like Pastor. Genuine, calm, friendly, creative, and childish were what defined Pastor, above all. He was considered a bright student, who was excellent at studies, smart at work, creative in fiddling with tech and what not. In some aspects, he totally resembled his father- except for the fact that He had more brains- and less strength.

Before Surrexia had met Pastor, she had always associated the word 'genius' with, arrogant bookworms full of attitude who considered all others as inferior. But Pastor possessed none of these qualties. Another reason why she fell for him- apart from his innocent and childish nature.

However, at times she used to wonder how Pastor had gained the sobriquet of " universal genius" when he totally sucked at biology and G.K.

And the answer always came to her almost instantly - it was all a game of productive knowledge and usefulness to the society.

As mentioned earlier, Pastor was so far known to be the "universal genius" of Szezkaban. He had travelled nearly all over the planet, won several awards, held many records, and had 57 patents on his name - a huge achievement for a 14 year old. Thus he was, of course, quite renowed, respected, and popular. He was an asset for the planet of Szezkaban. And Surrexia, at times, felt jealous.

Pastor sometimes got the feeling that the girl - errr... What was the unusual name she had again? Sutopia? Serena? Surrexia? Yes, Surrexia it was - tried to be too close to him. Pastor disliked that, partially knowing that, for some reason, the flow of extreme emotions always made his calculations wrong. But he still thought of her as a good friend, helped her clear her doubts, and, much to his amusement, she couldn't even solve a simple problem of physics. He didn't know if he was a good learner or she was a good teacher, but before the biology exam, she would prepare him very well, telling him what to mug up for, what was important and what wasn't. No big deal, he also helped her often. It was just pay back.
