Pastor just stared at the consequences of the sin he had committed, a panel - the panel which showed images of the area on which the attack was placed. no words could describe the extent of horror on his face as he stared at the panel in disbelief- the panel, that held an even more horrific sight.

what had once been a minor nuclear power station, was now... nothing. just dust and debris. a huge crater had marked it's destruction, which ended just barely at the residential areas in sector#94. the voice of the president of TMD still rang in his ears. "luckily no lives were lost". luckily. luck -a thing that had no assurance, no guarantee. a thing that changed in seconds. keeping faith on which was foolishness. a thing, on which one couldn't rely. and they called it a 'minor' attack. minor!

as a punishment for his 'foolish act', he had been sentenced to stay in his room with all appliances and equipment shut ... or atleast so until the war ended. quite a punishment- for him as well as for szezkaban. for when the planet needed the universal genius, at such a crucial time...

pastor felt someone grab his arm. instinctively, he knew it was Pecoris. they both walked through the eerily quiet corridors of the department which had something strange, bothering about it. that peculiar silence before the storm strikes...

"they are angry?" he asked his father.

"no, they are hopeless."

"i am sorry. i did not know establishing contact with earth would lead to such deadly consequences."

"it is not because you did that. everyone understands your motive behind this. establishing a friendly relation between the two planets, was it?"

"yes"

"but it backfired. it happens. we understand"

"then why did they punish me?"

"you yourself confessed that you had committed a crime."

"huh?"

"you were our only hope, son. and now, the hope is gone. forever. szezkaban cannot be saved.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

as ordered, the duo reached home, pastor was locked in his room,a nd pecoris left for an urgent collective meeting of all departments of szezkaban  to discuss the measures to be taken regarding this assault

"tell me if you need anything, pastor."pano's voice faded away with a hint of depression.

"sure, mom!" pastor was unexpectedly cheerful.

making sure that no one was outside, he lied down on his bed and sighed.

"so, what do we do now?" he asked himself.

"first and most important. get us out of here." a familiar feminine voice commanded from the closet. "it's really cramped in her, ow!"

who could it be? it wasn't Mary. she couldn't be intact after what pastor's sentence said. but it was definitely someone he knew. well, the only way to find out was to go and check it out.

he approached the closet door with caution. who could be stupid enough to come here and hide in a closet, thought the genius once again, as he slowly opened the door...

only to be pinned to the floor by a warm body that fell on him. despite the fact that he was physically weak, he raised a fist and prepared to fight the threat, when suddenly, the mass lifted, and revealed the girl who fell on him.

"oh, sorry," she apologized as she got up and brushed aside her rose pink hair. she had red pupils and wore a violet t-shirt with blue leggings. pastor rolled his eyes. that stupid girl.

"this wasn't my idea," mary spoke from inside the closet as pastor got up.

"hey" the girl greeted.

"err..hey" what was the name again now? soma?serena?surrexa? yes!surrexa it was, indeed.

"surrexa. any particular reason for coming here?"

surrexia sighed. this guy. "it's 'surrexia' pastor."

"oh, sorry. well?"

for a boy whose planet was at stake, he seemed outwardly calm, thought surrexia. and she had not expected this question as well, maybe.

"umm.. worried about you?"

"so you came here?"

"any problem?"

pastor sighed. " no, but you're gonna have one soon," he murmured to himself.

"well, since you are fair and alive, i will be off now"

"oh no, you're not going anywhere."

"and who are you to tell me if i can-"

"there is no way out."

"hell?!"

"they've sentenced me to stay here. locked with all appliances shut. until the war gets over. the war, which hasn't even started yet." he paused for a dramatic effect. " and you will be staying here now as well, I guess."

"please tell me this is a dream."
