Chapter 8

Brandi and Casey spent the day going to see new things throughout Hersey, Pennsylvania. Honestly that was one reason why they stayed behind because they wanted to go to the Hershey factory. The time went quickly with a quick lunch and the factory with some light shopping. They ended back at the hotel and just as they were about to watch a movie Nathan and Jay had texted each girl and wanting them to get ready for their dates because they were about to hit the stage and would be back at the hotel to pick them up right away. The girls knew that if they didn’t start getting ready now they wouldn’t be ready.  They showered and did their hair and makeup and last were the outfits. Of course they had picked out brand new outfits just for tonight. Casey had a dark purple dress that she didn’t even want to buy but Brandi had told her she looked perfect in it and Jay would never let her go. There was no arguing with Brandi when she was set on something like that. Casey had a pair of dark lavender peep toe heels on and she was self-conscience but Brandi kept saying how perfect she looked and she knew there was no going back. Brandi had on a longer fuller bright pink skirt with white tank top with beading on the bust paired with a little bright pink jacket and black ballet flats. Jay had just texted Casey and said they were on their way. The girls made their way downstairs in the lobby and waited eagerly.

The boys were waiting outside the hotel with two limos. Brandi and Casey’s eyes lit up and they both went on their way with their dates. When Casey got out of the limo Jay had covered her eyes really quickly. ‘What’s going on, Jay?” Casey said. “You will see.” Jay replied with a smile behind his words. After a few seconds Jay slowly lowered his hands and Casey’s eyes flew open. She looked and saw one table with two chairs and they were surrounded by nothing but the night sky in this beautifully lit garden. Everywhere Casey looked she saw tons of blooming colorful flowers. The garden was lit up by strings of light. Casey couldn’t say anything other than a noise that she couldn’t tell after making it whether it sounded weird or not but she didn’t care. Jay took her hand led her over to the table and they sat down and a waiter suddenly appeared with food that had been prepared for them.

After their lovely meal they sat and talked for at least an hour. She was so captivated by his lovely voice that she never wanted him to stop talking to her. They had more in common than what she had thought. He had told her many interesting stories about his childhood and his past relationships. She knew it was inevitable that if this was going to go somewhere that they needed to have that talk. They talked and discussed the happy times and the bad times they both had in their past dating history. She was a little shocked when she heard him say that he had never been in love before. “I’ve loved, meaning cared for a few people very deeply but I have never been in love.” Although she was shocked at his confession she knew that she never really had been either. After they talked he stood up from his chair and extended his hand for her to take. “Care to dance?” Casey never had been treated so much like a lady before and it was something that she could get used to.  They danced in the garden. Even repeating that to herself she felt stupid but let the thought fall from her mind as Jay held her tightly and twirled her on the grass dance floor. The night had been so amazing. He looked and smelled so amazing and she never wanted to leave that perfect moment of him dipping and kissing her as he brought her back up. They knew the night had to end when he got a text from Tom saying it was going on 3am. They had got back in the limo and headed back to the hotel, but as Casey hopped in she looked back at the garden and snapped a mental picture for the most amazing night of her life.

Later after everyone had settled down and it was just Brandi and her because the boys had to rest for another gig the next day. Nathan wouldn’t let Brandi go when they were about to go to their room. Siva had to drag him away and everyone laughed even Kelsey laughed as she also had to stay behind in her own room. Tom wanted her with him but she insisted since it was so late they would catch up the next day. Brandi sat next to Casey and asked what happened with Nathan. “Oh my god, it was the most romantic thing I have ever experienced.” Brandi told the story of how Nathan took her to the movies and rented the whole theater out for just those two and then had set up a big dinner in a private room of a building that was no longer vacant that Nathan had noticed from the bus that morning. Then just like Casey and Jay they danced, talked, and kissed the rest of the night. Casey told Brandi about her date with Jay and Brandi was so giddy for her. “See I told you he was right for you.” Casey had to admit it that he really was right for her. He understood her and made her feel important and gave her heart rapid beats.
