Chapter 7
Waking up the next morning in Jay’s arms was amazing. Casey never in her life had ever dreamed that this would happen. Jay had promised to take her on a proper date later that night after their gig just like Nathan had told Brandi. She looked at Jay’s sleeping face imagining how his lips had felt on hers last night. It was like her body was on fire and she was waiting for him stop and tell her he had second thoughts but he never did, he just kept kissing her in the most passionate and pure bliss filled way she could ever imagine. His lips were like silk across hers. Things had heated up quickly and she had her hands intertwined in his hair tugging on it and kissing him back with as much passion as he was putting in. Casey never had lost herself in someone before and it felt amazing…..scary as hell but so amazing. As long as Jay kept kissing her and looking at her that like that she didn’t care. Next thing she knew Jay’s beautiful blue eyes opened and he looked at her and smiled then said “good morning my beautiful lady.” He was the sweetest thing ever she thought to herself.
Throughout the morning everyone was just talking and enjoying breakfast that their manager had bought everyone. Casey noticed Nathan and Brandi were never really apart. She was always snuggled up against him and him with his arms or lips touching her. She even noticed that when Brandi wasn’t paying attention Nathan would sneak little glances at her and smile like he had just won some amazing prize. She was happy she didn’t have to worry about them because she was already going crazy from this whole promotion thing at work and then Jay. It was hard for her to just be happy and enjoy the ride so to speak because she was not used to the happy times in life. However, she knew that Brandi and Nathan were right in at least telling Jay how she felt and at least trying to make it work. The morning passed quickly with them all talking, eating, and then checking into a hotel for the next two days. Everything was going well and the guys had to head to rehearsal and invited them to go but they decided to go out and sight see for the day.
