The Day When My Life Changed Forever

High School Drama

It was the last night of summer. I'd spent half of my summer with Maggie.

I was in my room not worrying bout anything not even the first day of school (well junior year).  I heard someone try to break in my room. I check the window and Maggie was try to get in my house.
"Hey Gerald"
"Mags? Are you crazy?!"
"What? I always came into your room like this though your window"
"Yeah but do your parents know"
"No. Come on Gerald you know they work and have no time to worry about me" she enters my room.
"Okay well this is my room then. I think you remember it's always a mess"
"Yup but this time is cleaned"
"Yeah your actually right. What are you doing here actually?"
"What I can hangout with you on the last night of summer?"
"Mags we hang out everyday"
"I want to talk bout that"
"What?"
"I don't want you to call me Mags anymore, just Maggie, M or Mal"
"Why since were kids you never had a problem me calling you Mags"
"We were kids Gerald. It's just that never mind"
"Mags..I mean Maggie what's wrong"
"Nothing" she turns around "okay fine. In la I wasn't happy, it was hard making new friends, fitting in, people aren't that nice Gerald. I hated it"
"Mags tell me what happened to you in LA"
"Gerald I was raped when I was in freshman. I was used, hurt in many ways"
"Mags I'm sorry but now your here back home"
"I was alone Gerald"
"Your not alone anymore, you have Marty, James and me here, your three wimps" she laughed then gave me a smirk
"I'm just scared going to high school again"
"Don't be scared. I will be with you and also Marty and James always" I got closer to her and gave her a hug.
"Thanks Gerald. I should go now"
"I thought we were gonna hangout" I giggled
"Didn't we just hanged out" she giggled as well
"I'm kidding. See you tomorrow"
"Yeah"
"Same place where we always meet up"
"Yeah later Gerald"
"Later Mags" she goes out of the window

Next Morning
I got ready for school well basically to meet Maggie, me and Maggie have a connection but a friendship. I wanted to leave early but James and Marty were going on and on if I had any feelings for Maggie.
"Later ma"
"Aren't you going to wait for your brother and Marty"
"Um I was gonna go get some for breakfast"
"Just wait for them" i hate doing this to Maggie
"Come on James I'm on a hurry"
"Alright Gerald, why in a rush?"
"None of your business"
"Oh your meeting Maggie at the spot aren't you"
"Okay I am but don't start with your bullshit"
"Wow you've changed ever since Maggie came back"
"What? We're just friends"
"If you say so"
"Why is Marty taking so long to come?"
"I dunno man"
"I'm leaving sorry James"
"Okay but say hi to Mags for me"
"Shut up James" I left my house and started to walk fast. I hope Maggie didn't leave.

I see Maggie sitting in the picnic table at Christy Fields.
"Hey sorry that I'm late."
"I thought you were gonna bail me"
"Nah I would never break my promise, just you know Marty and James"
"Yeah they would think anything stupid"
"So you wanna go now or be late"
"If you want to"
"Okay but I'm kinda hungry"
"Wanna get a donut and coffee, I'll pay"
"No it's fine"
"Mags, I'll pay my treat"
"Okay but next time I'm paying"

We were on our way to Berkeley High School. I see James and Marty. They were gonna start bullshitting again.

"It seems they walked away"
"Yup" I see Maggie schedule and compared to mine. "I guess we have the same class together"
"Yeah" Maggie was nervous "what's wrong Mags"
"I just don't want anything bad to happen"
"Mags I will be with you by your side"
"Thanks Gerald"

June 06
Another school year done. I barely passed all my classes. But I couldn't concentrate mostly all the drama that went all around the school. Everyone thought I was dating Maggie because we would hangout all the time (actually I did have a crush on her. Who wouldn't she is the most beautiful incredible person I'd met but I have no reason why all guys wanted her just cause her appearance. Why couldn't they actually met her and get to know her like I did).

It was actually me, Maggie, James and Marty the four of us. But I was also focus on my dreams in music. Maggie was the smartest girl in the school. Wow she was amazing. Most of the drama was about Maggie basically because she was the most voted to have big tits and a big ass. She was done. Me and Maggie almost got expelled from the district by a fight.

All this shit start because of a rating system of who's the most popular girl. How much I hate that. But it was worth it to beat the shit out of the jocks that try to hurt Maggie. And I was surprised that Maggie beat the shit out of the popular girls.

Damn Mags.

Now it's the summer. Nothing to worry about just having the best time of our lives. I don't know what Mags, James and Marty wanna do.
