Maggie's Story Part Nine

I'm still upset bout the news. I'm feeling a little better no thanks to Gerald. My mom came to visit that day.
"Maggie how are you feeling"
"A little bit better thanks to Ger" I smile
"Glad to hear that but meaning me and your father and with the divorce"
"Mom, I know deep inside of me, it hurts but you guys are old enough to decide your decision"
"But I never missed anything with your father. I met him in high school just like you did with Gerald" I laughed a little bit
"Yeah but you and dad can still have that friendship"
"Yeah I guess as we get older we'd understand to mature one and other" Gerald walks in. "Oh hey Maggie. Hey Tessa"
"Hey G" I say to Gerald
"Hello Gerald"
"How are you feeling with the whole divorce"
"It's a little rough but I'll get through it with Chance as friends or married"
"That great to hear. Maggie can I get Marylin cause I want to take her to the park with my ma"
"Yeah" I responded
"Thanks babe" he kissed me and he leaves with Marylin
"Your marriage is going smooth"
"Since the whole situation of me not able to have babies, he more closer to us"
"Oh. Have you ever thought it was those birth control pills that Dr Lee prescribe you is affecting everything."
"I've been thinking that for so long. I even stop taking them"
"You should" my phone ringed.

*beep*

Gerald. I began to laugh. "Who is it from?"
"Gerald. He send me a photo of Marylin"
"Aw she's adorable. I hope your dreams do come true to have another baby."
"Thanks mom"
"Well I have to go and began packing"
"Where are you living"
"In this building"
"Oh. So you can be closer to us"
"Yeah. Bye Maggie take care"
"Bye mom" my mom left not to long ago. After my dad came over. I open the door. "Hey there's my little girl"
"Dad. I'm twenty three years old"
"I know but your my little girl. Where's Marylin and Gerald"
"At the park"
"Why didn't you went"
"Mom came over to talk
"Ah bout the divorce thing and your situation"
"Better thanks to Gerald"
"Oh. He better not hurt you cause"
"Dad! He proven to you he never will"
"Okay I just wanted to make sure"
"But most importantly how are you feeling"
"Well I'm a little upset that things had to end between me and your mother but hey we're old enough to be friends"
"True"
"Well I just want to know how you are, I gotta go now"
"Okay Dad. Take care"
"You to Maggie" my dad leaves

Gerald and Marylin came back from the park. "Hey baby, hi Marylin! How was the day with your dad today?"
"Maggie she said her first word at the park." I raise one of my eyebrow up
"No she didn't Gerald" Suzanne joked "Maggie how are you feeling?"
"Better"
"That's good to hear"
"Really ma. You could just stay quiet" Gerald said
"No I wouldn't. Well I have to go now bye guys" after Suzanne left we stayed in the living room and watched some movies on Netflix. 

I guess I'm feeling way better than before because I have a family
