Maggie's Story Part Twelve

I've been stuck in the hospital for three days. Okay doctor I'm fine. G has been staying with me. I haven't text my brother Landon. By now he's worried sick.
"G?" He was asleep
"Yeah babe"
"I wanna leave now."
"Babe I know but your.."
"I'm not fine. G, I'm better. I feel great. I just wanna leave to be with Marylin."
"Baby I know but the doctor said you need to rest"
"Here or at home. I'm just sick staying in the hospital for a long time"
"I know I hate to being away from Mari" he lays down with me.
"You know this is a one person bed"
"Yeah but I wanna be with you" he chuckled. My mom comes in. "Hey Mags, how you feeling?"
"Better but they're not letting me leave home. How's Marylin?"
"She misses both of you. Asking where Mama and Dada."
"Aw my princess" Gerald got upset
"I wish I can leave soon"
"You know your brother went to your place looking for you"
"He did?"
"Yeah. Since you haven't talk to him, he got worried."
"Did he came alone or"
"He came with someone. His girlfriend. I told him you were at the hospital and if he wants to visit you that there's no problem if he does"
"Oh my brother got the moves"
"Mags I came to tell you I have to leave"
"Where?"
"To Ohio, I going to see your father and try to see if we can transport him here"
"This is all my fault"
"It's not your fault, you were just upset, angry because he didn't say anything"
"I just hope he could forgive or at least apologize of what he did for so many years"
"He will. I have to go and catch my plane"
"Who's going with you?"
"Uncle Tony and Kade"
"Oh"
"Have a safe flight mom" my mom left the hospital.

After my mom leaving, Suzanne and James brought Marylin. I felt really happy.
"So when are you coming home" asked James
"I don't know depends if I'm fine"
"Well just remember you have us that will be there" Suzanne said
"Yeah thanks guys for being there"
"Your part of our family" Gerald said

Few hours went by so quick. The most that got me feeling well was seeing my daughter. Gerald came back from the cafeteria.
"Here I brought you a sandwich and a cookie"
"I don't wanna eat now"
"Baby. You have to eat something."
"I just want to be home" I heard someone knocking on the door "come in" it was my brother
"Hey Maggie"
"Landon"
"How are feeling"
"Fine"

"Gerald, Maggie's husband" G gives him his hand
"G-Eazy, I'm a fan of your music"
"Thanks man" my brother shakes his hand
"Dad told me a lot bout you"
"Yeah he did"
"Maggie I know he couldn't tell you"
"But why? He couldn't"
"I think he has his reasons"
"Didn't you came with your girlfriend"
"Yeah but she didn't want to intrude herself"
"She wouldn't"
"When I went to your place, I seen a little girl and I thought it was you"
"No that's my daughter"
"She looks like you and you G"
"Yeah she does" said proudly Gerald
"So what are you having, a boy or a girl"
"Were waiting till I give birth"
"Oh okay"
"Why"
"I just wanted to know"
"Okay I guess"
"Was it true that you had a crush on Gerald"
"Let me guess dad told you"
"Yeah"
"Why didn't you never call me, or said hey I'm Landon your brother"
"Because dad told me not to because it will make things complicated"
"I wish this would happen sooner. What did you do? What happened with your mom"
"My mom died. I went to LA because my aunt lived there, then I'd called my dad to let him know that I wasn't in Ohio anymore."
"Didn't we went to the same school together"
"Yeah but dad told me not to talk to you"
"So you started hate on me for no reason"
"I did had a reason. Because I didn't have my dad with me but you did"
"I feel bad. I should never push him away"
"It wasn't your fault"
"But where are you staying? What about your girlfriend"
"Tessa let us stay at her place"
"For now on your in the family. No more as before"
"Thanks sis. That means a lot"
"Now we just have to wait"
"Wait and hope dad is okay"
we talked for the whole night. Dr Gomez came in to inform me that I can finally leave. Yayy! Finally going home.
"So your happy that your going home" G said excited
"Yeah finally"
"I'm just happy that everything is been clarified between me and my brother"
"It should be for now on" we left the hospital. Landon came to chill with us. He got to meet his niece. I had the honor to meet his girlfriend.

I really wish that my dad was open to me how he was open to Landon. Whatever you couldn't tell me before I get it dad you had your reasons. You didn't know how me or my mom will react to.
