Marylin's 1st Birthday

Wow! Today my princess is turning one. Man time did fly by real quick. I remember the day when she was born. So small, so delicate. I will never forget that moment. But now I'm so thrilled to have my other baby. I really wanna know the gender of it. Maggie wants it as a surprise. I can't any longer baby, I really need to know. I'm wishing it could be a boy but Maggie wants another girl. My gut tells me it be a boy.

We were planning Marylin's party before but never had the time since we came back from New Orleans. My ma wanted to make it special for my daughter. Meaning she did it big than we expected. Tessa helped us out within the party. Maggie went to the SFO airport to pick up her family members from LA. She was happy to see them again. James was taking care of Marylin and I'm with Chance at his place. Since the whole divorce he hasn't been himself lately. I really feel bad for Maggie cause she seeing how her own father is going thru. But why did he decide to do this. Well honestly Tessa seems fine. She comes over to our house to be with Marylin while we're at the studio or somewhere else. But Chance has so much shit going on that I try to help but sometimes I can't help him.

"What Mr Gillum" he laughs. I can't believe he got drunk again and knowing it's my daughters birthday
"Come on! Get up, take a decent shower, get ready for Marylin birthday party"

"What the fuck are you saying? Your her grandfather and Maggie your daughter"
"Maybe Tessa telling you that so there's no bullshit later between us"

"Oh so she has found someone else than me. If it wasn't for me Maggie wouldn't be alive. Or have all this fame THAT I GAVE HER for all these years. Did Maggie ever told you why we'd came back?"

"I don't get it why she hasn't told you. She was bullied so many fucking times. Now I feel so bad, guilty for not protecting her from all the hate she had because her parents were YouTubers and worked with Jake Paul. She was harassed so many fucking times. My little Maggie she was an innocent girl, it was her fault nothing was. It was my fault. If I'd didn't save her but that abuser, she wouldn't be here with us or having this life with you" chance told me everything. Why didn't she tell me this?
"It's not your fault. Everyone is fucking fake. All this hate between you and Tessa but going through with Maggie that was to much. Shit why?"
"I know my daughter. She wouldn't say anything because she doesn't want to remember. I don't want you to mention this to her"

"That's not the only thing I kept from her"

"No I didn't kill him. It's something worse than that. I've been lying to Maggie and Tessa for a long time."

"During our marriage, was a disaster sometimes was great but mostly a disaster. I was like you, Gerald. Fucking other bitches, lying. Maggie did save part of my life but not all of it. I have another family in Ohio."
"What?"
"The 'marriage' between me and Tessa was fake. She thought it was true but everything was a lie. I actually married with another woman."
"Why Chance? Why would you do this to Tessa! Or Maggie! Your only fucking daughter! They both have been with you forever, they never! How could you!"
"Oh don't act so innocent Gerald! You did the same shit as me! If it wasn't for your daughter and this baby that's coming, you would be the same! Maggie not my only child. She has a brother. His name is Landon. I don't think he has my last name but I know he's my son"
"Where is he"
"In LA. I've been talking to him for a long time. I'm not that dick of a father. I been helping him with his needs. Me and him spend time together at Hollywood Sports. Paint balling. Everyone thinks that we're just friends but no it's not true."
"Are you going to tell Maggie this. Everything?"

Bae: G. I'm going to your ma house. Just picked up Uncle Tony, Kade and Aunt Erika from the airport. Where are you?
Me: I'm with your dad. Drive safely
Bae: 🙄. Is he coming later for Marylin party? I will. They know I'm pregnant.
Me: I don't know. He says he's not part of the family
Bae: Oh my dad. Well I'm start to drive. See you later babe

"Who is it?"
"Maggie. She asking if your coming"
"No. I hate to do this to her."
"Just come Chance. Everyone is coming."
"Who?"
"She said uncle tony"
"Anthony. My brother. He doesn't know I'm in these conditions"

"I'll try." I was bout to leave then Chance tells me something. "Don't say anything to Maggie"
"I won't"
"Alright. I'm leaving tonight to Ohio. Wanna come"
"What about your granddaughter"
"I'll own her"
"No you have to come"
"I don't know" I left Chances apartment. I had the gut that he was leaving for good and my help didn't help for nothing.

I went to my ma's house. Woah! Ma you did pull yourself for Marylin. I walk in to the house with gifts. I see Marylin all dressed up in her birthday dress. "Dada" she gets up and starts to walk then falls. She starts to crawl to me. I pick her up.
"Hi Marylin! Happy Birthday princess." I kiss her cheek. "Your so beautiful"
"Gerald?" Ma comes to me
"Ma" she has that big smile in her face
"Doesn't she look beautiful. That was the one you bought her."
"Yeah" I bought my daughter a pink dress for this day
"Where's Maggie"
"She at the backyard with her family and James" I walk out at the backyard.
"Maggie!" I call her
"Hey G" he walks to me. She presses her lips to mine.
"You look amazing babe"
"So do you and so this one" Maggie wore a long dress that showed her baby bump. "Yeah it's getting big"
"I can't wait to meet this little one"
"Come you got to meet my family" she grabs my hand to walk me out the backyard. I meet everyone but most of all it was the best until Chance can't to ruin this special
