it's been a few days and honestly? i have done nothing than stay in bed. i convinced my mother that i was sick and thankfully she believed it, but it was getting harder to keep that lie, so today, i finally got "done" with my "sickness" and am back to going to school.

i haven't really spoken to Gal so much, but we would stare at each other through the window and wave at one another, but that would be it, i did miss her honestly, and i also planned and making a visit to her soon, maybe to hang out again.

after my long shower, i came out fresh, but also late so i had to hurry up. i grabbed my skateboard from the corner of my room, and ran downstairs where i saw my mother enjoying her coffee.

"Sarah, sit down let me make you breakfast before school" my mother spoke, getting up from her seat, but i shook my head no, and darted out the door.

i placed my skateboard on the ground, and tried to get there as fast as i could. but i couldn't help but glance at Gal's house, noticing that there was another car next to her Porsche which made me a little curious to who it was, although it wasn't my business.

i was still 10 minutes late when i got into school, i quickly placed my skateboard inside of my locker before going to my first class, which was english with Mr. Samuels, an old grumpy man who hated tardiness.

"Sarah. it's nice of you to join us after days of being absent. but there's no excuse to being late. after school detention, 1 hour"

1 hour because i was 10 minutes late? that was just fucking cold.

"c'mon, Mr. Samuel's, this is my first detention, please just give me a warning" i pleaded but it was no luck because he shook his head no and pointed at the back, which was my seat.

i sighed, looking at the students as i made my way to my seat, some didn't care to listen to our conversation, while other's like Donny were laughing and talking shit about me.

i decided to take out my phone when Mr. Samuel's had his attention on the board, i texted my mom telling her i would be an hour late.

"Mr. Samuel's, Sarah is on her phone" Donny called me out, pointing at me, while every student stared now including my teacher who looked even more angry.

i cursed at Donny under my breath. i sent him a glare, but all he did was smirk at me as he raised his eyebrow.

"Miss. Wolfert, you already came in late and now you're texting in my class?"

"Mr. Sam-" but i was cut off by him.

"i don't want to hear it, 2 hour detention after school, and if i see you causing any more trouble, i won't hesitate to give you a week of after school detention, do you understand?"

"yes sir" i said quietly as i turned off my phone and placed it at the side.

i kept my eyes on the window outside, thinking about how much i hated this school, but on the back of my mind Gal was lingering, and i couldn't help but smile to myself.

i was hoping to pay her a visit today, but now that i have 2 hours of detention, i don't know if i could, but we'll see. i miss being able to talk to her.

but that's when i realized i have her number. i could easily just send her a text, but i felt shy, and preferred just to go see her right away.

i kept quiet in all of my classes, wanting to stay as invisible as i could but that was a fail because Donny for sure noticed me, and would either send me hate notes, or try to get me in trouble.

lunch period was the only time where i could get away for the hour, i would usually not sit in the cafeteria, but instead, in the library and read books to keep me entertained for the hour.
