Every parish has that perfect family that everyone raises on a pedestal and envies the crap out of. Parents all feel inadequate and kids feel inadequate but also internally fight their parents' desires to make their family more like that family.
The perfect family criteria includes:
• six or more children
• homeschooled
• dad works, mom homeschools kids
• daily mass at least three days a week besides Sunday
• extremely modest dress
• CUTE older sons
• musically gifted (or at least they think they are and sell it with a crazy amount of confidence)
• buddy buddy with the priests
• attends all parish activities besides youth group (probably to avoid corruption of the children)
• does charity work all together as a family
• all perfectly well behaved
• siblings appear to love each other so much
• parents always offering advice to other parents
• pretty out of touch with the culture of the day but no one seems to careKnow any families like this?
