Vampire.

Josh.

Josh is a freaking vampire.

Looking back, it made a weird sort of sense? At least based on the things Tyler did know about the man, and the oddities that just seemed to go along with him.

The entire situation was just...weird.

So in an effort to bring order to the chaos that was his mind, Tyler had decided to put all the information he now knew into a list. Doing so gave him a small sense of control, and God knew he needed that right now, considering he was still in a basement with a man in chains.

The list is as follows:

1. Josh doesn't always have a reflection. (Why sometimes?)
2. He's never seen him eat outside of the chocolate strawberries. (Only like, one.)
3. He lives in a warehouse with no foreseeable source of income, yet has enough money to pay Tyler more than a months rent from one donation. (What the shit.)
4. Donation my ass. He has most likely been... (Tyler didn't want to write that, so he didn't. Still a little queasy about it.)
5. His roommates seem similarly suspicious, and their weird lingo and ways of living are starting to make sense. (Are they vampires too? Apparently Brendon is.)
6. Oh, yeah. Josh is a freaking vampire.

Almost forgot that last one. Not.

All in all, it was a very short list. And that made Tyler almost as uneasy as the fact that the man was literally a living myth. Or undead. Whatever.

Running through it in his head, as Ryan had no paper on hand, Tyler glumly added one more thing to the list, ignoring the warmth in his cheeks.

7. I am dangerously attracted to him, despite all of this.

He groaned, dropping his face into his hands and prompting Jenna to look at him worriedly from where she stood at the stove, stirring...something. It smelled like heaven, though.

"Tyler-" she began, but he cut her off, shaking his head.

"I don't even know what to do right now," he moaned, and Ryan rolled his eyes. The lanky brunette had stretched out his legs to rest on the coffee table in front of him, watching the T.V. and only half listening, but he waved off Tyler's conflict with a slender hand.

"You're making it too complicated. So, what," he snorted, raising a brow at Tyler, who sent him a weak glare. "Your boyfriend's a vampire. That's no biggie, as long as he's not drinking from your vein." He looked pointedly at the boys forearm, and Tyler covered the bandaid almost defensively. "So that's not the reason to be mad here."

"Well, he could've told me," he hissed, feeling cornered. How was Ryan so lenient about all of this? It was crazy! "He has so many secrets! And- hey," he stopped, and Ryan gave him a smug smile.

"He's not my boyfriend." he growled.

Even Jenna snorted, and he gave her a look of hurt that she only smiled at.

Grumbling, he crossed his arms and sat back against the wall the bed was cornered into, ignoring the both of them.

Bunch of traitors.

The blonde sighed, adjusting the burner on the stove so it was simmering, and reached for some spice on the counter, sprinkling it into the pot. "Tyler, look. I know I kind of overreacted and made this situation worse by getting you to that point, as well-" she glanced back at him and frowned as he continued pouting, shaking her head and stirring at the noodles. "But it can't be that bad. Look at Ryan. He seems happy with a vampire, right?"
