I sit back in the comfortable leather chair, a smirk stretched across my ivory skin. "I just don't understand why you have to cause so much trouble" Principal Wells sighed, his hands rubbing his balding scalp.
"I didn't do anything, that bad" I defended batting my long lashes asking for pity.
"Hmm," He pulls the blinds open, to reveal the school mascot statue covered in red, blue, and pink spray paint. "Well, it's not bad, just we can't seem to clean it!" He crossed his arms, "We will have to buy a new one, it cost almost two thousands dollars!"
"Maybe this one will be nicer?" I mumble I am so sick of this balding Seymour Freud, always telling me that all my issues are because of 'my broken family'.
"We have no choice but to expel you" he wipes his forehead, "Ocean, we have already called your mother"
"Okay" I shrug it off, she doesn't care. All she cares about is Robert, her on and off boyfriend.
Our attention is drawn to the door when my mother walks in, she is wearing a low top and shorts. Mother is parading a cigarette in her hands. "Ocean are you ok?" She clutches my cheeks in her well-manicured hands "Principal Wells, don't suspend her"
"I'm not" my mother sighs in relief "I'm expelling her"
"What!" she screams, the ashes from her cigarette floating to the floor.
Principal Wells nods to mothers cigarette, and she puts in out on my leather jacket. "Last week she melted the National Football Championship Trophy"
"You have 5 others!" I scream an excuse for the many acts of vandalism that I have committed while my short time here. I know Principal Wells has given me many chances since I've been here, but I feel I've worn out my welcome, not only does The Principal want me gone, but so does everyone here at The New York Leslie Preparatory School. Most of the current student body and some of the parents signed a petition to have me removed permanently from the school's roster.
"2 months ago, you gathered the History Exams and set them on fire!" Principal Wells laughed in a sarcastic-I'm-full-of-you-being-here kind of laugh.
"You don't even know if that was me," I mumbled while I crossed my arms and hands. My light brown hair falling over my hazel eyes.
"Really so your test was magically the only one to stay untouched?" He put one hand on his hips. So sassy Mr. Wells, god he is killing me, just let me go home.
"Just plain luck, as I see it" I smiled,
"Well you're officially expelled," he said very seriously, handing my transcript to my mother, who with shaky hands grabs the notebook and then grips my arms and drags me out.
My mother pulled me up from the chair, "come on Ocean"
"You can't expel me!" I said yelling. The principal held the front door open for us. "Ouch, Mom! Your freaking nails!" Mom sat inside the car, "mom?"
