"Coming!" I scream from the attic. I quickly shove the faded pieace of paper in my pocket, and leave the last box in the attic.
"Come on honey" he grips my shoulder. My mother holds my hand. "It's only the summer you'll be back for the school year" I stare at the black Lincoln waiting in the driveway. I gulp back the lump in my throat.
