New Year New Mission

All winter break Talon hung out with me. He would disapear sometimes. I know he was with her that Brin girl. I haven't gotten the courage to talk to him about her. We go to school he pulls me close and we snuggle on the way through the halls.

I sit next to Noah. I can see he really doesn't want to talk to me, but I'm determined to make it better "What do want to do when you get older?" I ask him.

"Why?" He raises one eye brow

"I don't know it just came to mind. " I shrugged

"Well Marines based in Japan, if not then my dad owns a semi-huge company, I'd work for him." Noah whispered, "What about you?"

" I want to become a Teacher here in Helding Heights, teach 1st graders" I smile.

"You'd be a great teacher... I - they'd love you" he studdered. I smiled and we went back to studying.

Talon walks into my classroom and grabs my arm, and drags me out. "I cant believe you!" He yelled. I wondered what he was talking about. "He yanks out the picture of me and Noah. "I can't believe you Ocean I thought we were good! I would never!"

"BRIN!" I expose him and myself. "I known for a while, what does she have thats so tiny!? Other than a conscious?" I say

"I'm not-" I slap him, his face is surpised "A ....." he mumbles, I stare him dead in the eye, "She's pregnant... and it's mine"

"Why didn't you tell me..." I sob, "did you cheat on me"

"I met her a month before you and she left to live with her mom. She came back and told me the news. Besides you obviously cheated on me!" He explained

"I'm sorry. What about the money..." his look goes blank

"I borrowed money from your dad to buy a car... so we would have a place to meet. About sixteen thousand dollars. "

"I need some space" I pushed him.

"Space?" He looks at me wierd.

"A break Talon..."

A week later Ruby's Ultrasound appointment came up. Her mother and her sister Tashie were there along with Jamie, Scarlet, dad and I. They rubbed that icky clear stuff on her stomache. The black and white screen above us lights up. "There it is" the nurse says. We all gasp. "Do you want to know the gender?"

"Yes..." Ruby whispers

"Well, it's a gir-... wait" the nurse says

"What is something wrong?" The worry in her voice persisted

"No it's.... um Twins..." the nurse says

Plop...
Jamie fainted and was on the floor.

"It looks like 2 girls" the nurse couldn't tell the other was in the way. Jamie got up. "Do you have names?"

"Well one is Delaney, and the other we don't know we kinda weren't expecting two of them" she smiles

We all ride back in the limo. "Lets talk another girl names" I hear Ruby say.

People in limo start shouting names. Things like Rebecca, Sadie, Callie, Samatha, Violet.

"Raelyn... Kenzie?" The car goes quiet.... "its stupid I know.." I look down

"Its great I love it Ocean!" We all laugh and have a great time. We pull up to the house, and all get out to eat the dinner that was prepared for us. Ruby as expected ate 3 of everything. Everyone looked at her in amazement, she just shrugged, her blue eyes shining brilliantly.
