Mikey's pov As we leave the house, I start to get a little nervous. I don't do well with new people. It doesn't take long for us to arrive. I can already see people there. Shortly after we got there, Brian walked up to us with a guy I didn't know. "Hey, Mikey, this is Carter," Brian said.

He moved to the side so I could see. I awkwardly waved and stood behind Jon a little because I didn't really know him. "This is the part where you guys say 'Hi'......" Wildcat says as he walks up to us. "Uh....hey. Leaving now," Carter said as he walked away sitting against a tree. "Same," Mikey said running and jumped on Luke's back and stayed there. "Well, Hi, Mikey," Luke said looking back. "Well that went well," Jon said. "He, well, doesn't do well with people. Ever. Took me months to get him to have an actual conversation with me," Brian said. Luke had walked back over to Jon and Brian to give me back, but I wouldn't let go because I was comfortable and didn't want to move. Jon and Brian started to pull on me, but, when they fell back, Luke fell forwards. "Comfy landing," I said. "Speak for yourself. Please get up, Mikey," Luke asked. "No," I said. "JON!!" Luke yelled. "WHAT!!!" Jon yelled. "Mikey!" Luke screamed. Jon came over and jumped on Luke as well. We just sat there laughing. "ARE Y'ALL FUCKING SERIOUS?" Luke yelled. "Pretty much," Jon said.
Brian's pov "Hey, Carter. You alright?" I asked sitting next to him. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" he said while drawing in his notebook. Carter loves to draw, however, he will only draw his memories and they aren't so good. "Well, do you maybe want to come sit with the rest of us?" I tried asking. The question backfired. He wouldn't talk anymore and I was the reason why. I just got up and walked over to everyone else to see when we were going to eat when I saw what Mikey and Del were doing to Luke. "What....is...going...on?" I asked. I really don't want to hear the answer because god knows what will come out of their mouths. I saw that Ohm was finally able to get them off, but as soon as that happened Luke started chasing them. I saw Mikey run to the tree where Carter was sitting and climb up it as Luke chased Delirious. Carter got up and walked away. He really just can't handle people. I go after him to make sure he's alright, but he doesn't speak. Carter started running away, so I had to run after him. "CARTER!! COME BACK!" I tried yelling, but he was gone. I walk over to the tree where Mikey and the guys were. "Guys, I need help. Carter ran off and he's probably hiding. Can you help me?" I asked. "No problem dude," Wildcat said. "Thanks. Maybe some of us should stay here just in case he comes back," Lui said. "Perfect! Now, listen, he is amazing at hiding so we will have to look very closely at things. He hid in the dryer once. Took me forever to find him," I then told everybody to spread out and search everywhere. Mikey, Luke, Ohm, Bryce, and Delirious all went in to Tyler's house to see if Carter was there.
Mikey's pov I walked into the kitchen to grab a snack and look around. I thought I heard a cabinet shutter, so I opened it. "FOUND HIM!!" I yelled. "You gonna come out?" I asked. No response. Brian soon came into the kitchen and asked me if I could step out for a second, while he tries to calm Carter down. I walked out and I could hear muffled talking.
Carter's pov "Carter, can you come out?" Brian asked me. I shook my head no. "Why not?" Brian asked. "I'm stuck...." I admitted. I just don't do well with people. I always feel like they will hurt me. "Oh. Mikey, can you come help?" Brian said. "Sure, what's up?" Mikey asked. "We need to get him out of here," Brian said. I started crying and freaking out. They finally pulled me out and I was in a ball. Brian started rubbing my back. "Hey, Carter, it's fine. You're here with us," Brian said rubbing my back. "Can I have cake when we go home?" I asked. Black Forest Cake is my favorite. "Of course we can," Brian said. "I wanna be alone," I said. "Well first you have to do one thing for me, okay?" Brian said. "Okay..." I said. We all went to the living room and sat down. "What are we doing?" I asked starting to shake. "Calm down. It's just a little game of Truth Or Dare." Brian said. I nodded. "Who's going first?" Mikey asked. "You," Lui said in his squeaker voice. "O-okay," She said clearly nervous. "Mikey, Dare or dare?" Lui asked. "Dare?" Mikey said. "I dare you to go into the guest room with Carter and stay there for just a few minutes," Lui said. I started to freak out, but then cake popped in my mind and I was okay again. "U-uh o-okay," Mikey said starting to have a panic attack. We walked into the guest room and I went for a corner. Turns out she wanted the same corner. We started walking towards another corner and found each other again. "Stay here," I said walking to the corner in the opposite side of the room. We both were clearly having panic attacks. I managed to think about my cake and calm down a bit. I crawled over to her and tried to calm her, but nothing was working. "You like music? Who am I kidding. Everyone loves music. Who do you like?" I tried asking. I got no answer, so I decided Linkin Park was the best option right now. Numb was my favorite song, so I put that on. I could see that we were both calming down a lot more. "Wanna sit on the couch with me, Mikey?" I asked. "S-sure," she said. I helped her up and we went to the couch. "Want a blanket? Drink? Need anything at all?" I asked. "No I'm fine," she said. "You sure? I can get you anything. Anything you need," I said. I wanted nothing more than to give her something she loved. "I need like 20 monsters," she said. "Coming right up!" I rushed to the door and tried desperately to open it. It was locked. Some of the doors here locked from the outside and this was one of them. There was a window, but it was only decorative, so it doesn't open. "Well....we were tricked. They locked us in here," I said pacing around the room. I was trying to keep my composure, but I don't think it was working. "Hey let's stay calm. Um, there has to be a way to get out," she said. "There's no way out," I said. Memories started sifting through my mind and I found my way to a corner. I curled into it and began to mumble whatever came into mind. I was covered in tears by the time I drifted into a deep sleep, turning off the world around me.
