I could feel his breath behind me, even when I was eating. Eggs, something I used to love. Ever since I have had this being inside of me, my baby, I have hated the sight of eggs. Recently I have been told Eggs are amazing for the baby's health, and will grant you energy down the road. With that, I have been trying to force the cooked baby chickens down my throat.
"Can you stop staring at me like a hawk? It's creeping me out!" I snapped at Tal, who was on the couch watching me eat. "Sorry." He said quickly, continuing to watch the news. Feeling bad, I finished up and went to sit on my lap. "I know you're only trying to help." I kissed his cheek and let him smile and watch the news.
"I was going to suggest you were on your period, but you being pregnant explains all of this." Anthony popped out with a discriminating sentence, making me sigh. "Anthony, me being pregnant doesn't stop the fact that I can hurt you." I said with a smile. Anthony then nodded slowly and faded back into the backdrop of Tal's recording studio. "Dully noted." He whispered with a sad face.
"How was work yesterday?" Tal asked me, rubbing my back as I slipped into the couch end next to him. "Good, I guess. My apron is becoming a tight fit." I patted my belly, the very small bump appearing as I brought back my shirt, tight against my belly. "Well, it's going to be even more of a tight fit in no time." He smiled, and I groaned. I was nearing 11 weeks while Tal was over here trying look pregnant with his build.
"You can't be pregnant with abs, my love." I caressed his 6-pack and smiled. "Maybe I can buy a baby bump and we can twin." He joked, and I chuckled. "Yeah, wait until the birth. I bet you don't want to twin then." I said with a hint of worry in my voice. Tal nodded and watched the news, us holding hands.
"We should do a reaction." Anthony called from the setup, Tal groaning softly. "I am too lazy!" He shouted back, and I shook my head. These two goofs. "How about fire or truth?" He called back, Tal rolling his eyes.
"You should." I pat his shoulder, giving him a kiss on the lips and walking towards the bathroom. I really had to pee!

"So when can I come in?" I asked the doctor, her voice soft and sweet. "We can make you an appointment! We need to see when your baby is due, and we also need to check on its general health." She replied, and I nodded. "Okay! What day?" I asked, and she hummed to think. "Tomorrow sound good? We have an appointment slot open for you!" She asked, and I looked at Tal. "Yeah, tomorrow is fine." I replied with a cough to my elbow.
"Okay! Tomorrow morning at 9am! See you then!" She said before hanging up. Setting my phone on the counter, Tal hugged me from behind. "What's up with the doctor?" He asked nicely, and I kissed his cheek. "I have an ultrasound tomorrow." I gulped, and he widened his eyes.
"Really? Can we see the gender of the baby?" He asked, all hyped. "No idea." I huffed with exhaustion. It was barely 5pm and I was already ready for my daily nap. "Listen, Aria. You go sleep, I will make dinner." He kissed my cheek, and I nodded. Climbing into bed, it wasn't long before I was deep into my sleep.

Waking up to Tal shaking me, he gave me a welcoming smile and got me up. "I need to go to the bathroom." I wiped my face, rushing to the bathroom. Walking out after, I looked at the counter-top to see Tal had baked Shepherd's Pie. My favorite.
"You're too good to me." I rubbed my stomach, feeling the small bump. I couldn't get used to that so fast, the new change in my body. Not just that,I couldn't get used to the fact I was carrying a child. I was barely 21 and I had a baby inside of me.
"I know, but you deserve it." He gushed, kissing my cheek before putting a plate in front of me. Giving me a fork and a glass of milk, he lastly sat down next to me with his own plate. "You haven't eaten lunch." He commented, and I nodded. "I had a shake." I truthfully did.
"Okay. Just wanted to make sure." He chewed his food before filling up a glass of water for himself. "Do you want to watch a movie?" He asked after we finished our food, setting the plates softly into the sink and starting to wash them.
"Which one?" I asked, still sleepy from my nap. "How about The Notebook?" He asked, smirking towards me. "You're one of the only guys in existence to like that movie more than a girl." I laughed, and he chuckled and nodded.
"I'm gonna shower first." I said, striding to the bathroom and brushing my teeth while the shower heated up. Undressing, I spit into the sink, rinsed my toothbrush, and took out my bun, walking into the shower.

Sitting down next to Tal who had prepared popcorn, milkshakes, and had set up The Notebook, he covered me with a blanket and cuddled up close next to me.
"I love you." We kissed for a moment before I smiled and we started the movie. "I love you more." He replied after kissing my damp head. "I love you most." I kissed his cheek and we both laughed and smiled. Softly rubbing my baby bump under the blanket, I thought about what the babys gender would be.
