"Nothin is wrong." I said that mostly to try and reassure myself. But in all honesty I couldn't tell if I was upset or not anymore. It was true. There is no cure currently, and dad was killed making the only one possible. Maybe there really was no chance for me to be, normal. But oh well. It's out of my hands.
"I don't really think nothing is wrong. You seem upset." I sighed.
"Look. I'm fine. Even if I wasn't I don't need your help." She looked me slightly wide eyed.
"Sheesh. You really are upset." I groan and look out over the pound and to the other edge of it. Suddenly my face was covered in water. I took a deep breath and looked over to see Seraphina holding back a laugh. "It looked like you needed to, cool off." She suddenly burst into laughter.
"I'd use my magic on you but I prefer not to." She continues to laugh and I growl.
"I'm sorry. You just seemed upset so I figured a harmless prank would help." She smiled and hugged me. "I'm sorry!" I looked down at her and rolled my eyes.
"Uh huh. Can you let go now?" She let go and held her hands behind her back as she smiled.
"I'm hungry. Wanna go get something to eat with me?" I looked at her confused then sighed.
"You aren't gonna let me say no are you?"
"Nope!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me along behind her. I sigh and follow behind.
