I looked up when I heard it. I saw the same girl from before. The one that thought I was going to bit her. She had bumped into Kane. The pretty boy of the school. Every girl fawned over him because of how "amazing" he was. "Good looking." "Handsome." "Beautiful eyes." All of the words flew through my head and I scoffed.
"I'm so sorry." Kane said. He knelt down to help her collect her things. She grabbed most of it frantically and Kane looked at her. "Are you in a rush?" He asked nicely.
"N-no! I-I just..." She continued grabbing things and Kane smiled. He grabbed her hand as she went for a paper. Her face exploded into embarrassment.
"Hey. Calm down. It's okay. If you try to grab your paper too quickly you'll crumple them." He smiled nicely and she blushed more. She quickly got up and walked away leaving the last few papers on the floor and I chuckled.
"Look ay that Kane. Ya scared her off. First time for everything huh?" I grinned and Kane scanned me, then grimaced.
"You would know when someone scares somebody off wouldn't you?" I growled and he grinned. He grabbed the papers left and stacked them neatly then walked away with them. "I'll probably see you later. Kinda hard to miss the only vampire in school isn't it." He laughed at himself as he walked away. I growled again and my fangs grew slightly and as they did Alexis grabbed my shoulder.
"Don't."
"Come on. One little nibble? That asshole deserves it." I growled as I watched Kane walk down the hall. Two girls had decided to join him and walked along either side of him.
"No bro. It's fine. Just ignore him." She said as she glared at him. My fangs retracted and I sighed.
"Fine."
