I don't like resolving myself to the ideology of lost causes
I don't believe there is a human condition that cannot be cured using logic, reasoning, study and education
Nor do I believe that any person's mind is truly unwavering.
I believe human beings get jaded and hurt, and decide to give up on fighting for change, or they decide that someone that harmed them did it purely of malicious intent... Many people that commit atrocities often have to convince themselves of the same.
Both are lying.
I don't believe most people beg out of laziness, rob out of greed, riot out of entitlement, kill for enjoyment, rape because of a biological defect...
I believe there are parts of life I haven't experienced and, therefore, can never fully understand.
If I could, I believe that logic and reasoning could change them, or help future situations be better understood, and potentially prevented...
