Chapter 2
Indeed she did prove to be interesting. "Good day to you sir" she said as she parted from him politely. She departed from him and left his presence completely, she spun around a moment to add "It was Nice to have met you"and then she was off out into the opposite direction. Yes typical, typical indeed he mused to himself. Albert was right about them all running around all the time. He was right about them running in general. Had she ran? Well no not exactly it was more of a strange rhythmic skip like jig. Irish step dancing without the backbone leaping was more accurate. Well he didn't know what it was but whatever she had done it certainly had not been running. All the same she had been quick about it and had managed to propel herself from one point to another. This was what was so typical people slipping away escaping his presence. He wasn't angry with her. He wasn't angry with anyone so he wasn't bothered her by her behavior. No far from it after all it was only natural; natural meaning when you see a nearly seven foot skeleton hanging about one tends to quicken one's space and turn the other way! He couldn't blame them after all they were only human. Most people completely denied his existence altogether. She could have done the same thing, this girl from another realm she didn't ignore him, she had instead stayed a few extra minutes to have a actual decent conversation with him. Now that was nice of her and when she had finished she did the most untypical thing anyone could have done she had actually admitted that their meeting had been nice! Nice? Whenever one met him especially those who could see him, their description of him were usually along the line of tall Grim, gloomy ,moody ,intimidating maybe even morbid and horrifying but it was never nice. In fact the likelihood of anyone describing him as nice was as probable as someone calling him handsome. Maybe he had some notable features, some notable qualities here and there but physically speaking he was the very face of Terror and he wore that face everyday 24/7. Well he didn't exactly wear it, he possessed I, he owned it and as far as he knew, no one had given it to him. He had never been born; not born in the sense like humans were from the womb. He had no beginning. He knew no Creator. He had no father or mother to claim him. He definitely saw no ending for himself anytime soon, ever at all in the near future. She(Madeline) knew he would somehow always be around even after the fall of all mankind when the stars faded and the Very destruction of the universe finally came he would live on he had no choice after all he was Immortal. I hope we meet again was his response in reply. He wondered if she heard him before she had so hastily skipped away to who-knows-where. You mustn't worry about her such stories sort themselves out there that is a terrible thought do hope her ends does not come quite so soon. Yes it would be a Pity if she should perish so young then again I've seen it before it is cruel and strikingly unfair unfortunately life can be very short-lived for some she may be one of them one of them one of many yet I really must carry on I most Focus her life is in the hands of fate fate will decide what to do with her she may live she may not .what does it matter to me? Yes why did she matter? What made him so concerned about her life? What made him so concerned about her life? Why was her fate suddenly so important to him? He didn't even know her ,he had never even met her until today. It still felt somehow that they were connected in some very strange way. A even stranger feeling was coming over him now, a feeling he did not quite like. This force surged underneath the strange power of power he felt enveloped on my power he could not control. Death had a lot of power and all his power he had control of every last bit of it and he indeed like to Pride himself for always being in control this was not necessarily true but it sounded promising all the same however it was true that that some things in in this world he had no control over and in some cases that bothered him.
