The Gifted | Charlie

"Everyday, I was strugglin' to learn what life's about."
- Drake

Slowly but surely, things were making a turn in Harry's life. Not everything was perfect but it was a small start. He has met a spunky, nerdy, and super cute girl who turns out to be like him. The feeling of knowing that he's not alone makes the boy feel happy. She's different from everybody and he liked that so much. Kahli has made him feel all types of ways ever since they bumped into each earlier this week and it has his head spinning. He didn't know it, but he was developing a small crush on her.

"Hey hot stuff," Kahli chirps taking a seat next to Harry, she looked very pretty with her pastel pink dress that stopped at her knees, her hair big and poofy with her glasses sitting perfectly on her face.

Harry cracked a smile and greeted her back, "Hey Kahli."

"So..what ya doing?" She asks looking at his black journal that he was currently doodling in.

"Drawing some symbols I saw in my dream last night," he murmurs shading in the ten sided star with a unshaded triangle in the middle.

"Hold on," Kahli leaned over and gasped. "I-I seen that symbol before."

"You have?" Harry asks looking at her curiously. "Don't play with me Kahli."

"I'm not I swear," she then took her extra notebook out and flipped to a certain page, she showed him the exact same star but the difference was is that the triangle in the middle was shaded and the ten sided star wasn't.

"Okay..that's creepy," Harry blinks looking at her drawing then back at the girl. "When did you draw that?"

"Earlier this week," she tells him closing her notebook. "Everytime I see a symbol in my dream I draw it so I can uhm..study it."

"Oh," Harry responds not really knowing what to say.

"Sorry..I'm weird," she murmurs placing her notebook in her backpack and shaking her head telling herself to keep her nerdiness on the low.

"You're not weird Kahli," Harry says looking at her. "I think it's kinda cute."

"You do?" She asks pushing her glasses up her nose adorably.

"Yeah," he spoke smiling moving his pen back and forth, then his pen flew out of his hand onto the ground. "Whoops."

An idea popped in her head at that moment," You wanna see something cool?" Kahli asks grinning mischievously.

"Sure?" Harry responds sounding uncertain of what she was going to do.

There was no one in their class right now which gave Kahli an opportunity to levitate the black metal-made pen back to her hand. Once she looked at Harry his jaw was agape making her bust out laughing.

"What..the..actual..fuck?" Harry spoke gripping his hair in disbelief. "H-How did you do that?"

"I wish I can answer that question babe," she giggles placing his pen on his desk.

"That was..so cool," Harry breathes .

"Thanks," she blushes feeling kinda proud that she impressed him.

Harry then laced his fingers and cracked his knuckles dramatically, "I guess I gotta show off now."

"I'm watching," she hums resting the side of her face in her hand, her eyes on the pretty boy in front of her.

Those pretty lips of his curled into a smirk and with a small gesture of his index finger her glasses went flying down to her lap then floated on the surface of her desk.
