{Jake's POV}

     I made my way to the Throne Room and walked through the double doors, seeing the Matriarch sitting on one of the thrones on the platform across the room. "Oh, my dear, you're safe! What happened to you?" she asked, rushing to meet me. She wrapped her arms around me. I hugged her back, remembering what I needed to do for Jinxx. Just play the part, distract her.

      "That Mystic summoned me, trapped me. He tried to cure me, but I escaped the trap and destroyed him. I'm sorry, Mother. I know you wanted his power, but he would have destroyed me if I hadn't taken him out. He put up a good fight," I said, bowing to her.

     "You have no need to apologize, my son. I don't need his power. I am powerful enough. We are powerful enough! We will rule this world without his magic. I'm just glad you're safe. I do not know what I would do if I lost you, my dear boy," she said, flustered.

     I moved past her, taking a seat on my throne. "What is our next course of action?"

     She hummed as she took a seat beside me. "We must wait a little longer. The remaining three legion members are not yet turned. They keep resisting. Maybe I should send you down there, have you put some sense into them," she thought.

     "I would be honored to," I said, pleased because it would give me an excuse to help Jinxx.

     "Then go, and do not return until you have finished the job!" she ordered. I bowed and rushed out of the room, running towards the dungeons.

{Andy's POV}

     All of my energy at this point was being used to fight off the shadows, but I could feel them taking over. "Andy, how're you holding up?" I heard Ashley ask. He sounded kind of weak and tired.

     "I-I'm okay." I said, trying to sound that way.

     "Andy, p-please don't lie to me. T-They're getting stronger, aren't they?" he asked.

     "Yeah. Yeah, they are. CC, what about you?" I wondered. I only got silence in response. "CC?" I asked again.

     "CC, are you okay?!" Ashley asked, getting worried. He didn't respond.

     I gasped as I heard someone coming. "You heard that, too? Maybe it's Jinxx," Ash suggested. A light from the end of the hallway dimly illuminated the rest of the hallway-a blue light. "Jinxx?!" Ashley cried.

     "Guys? Where are you?" Jinxx asked, his voice coming closer.

     Finally, he appeared outside my cell. "Hey, J-Jinxx," I sighed in relief.

     "Andy, are you okay? Where are the others?" he asked.

     "Nearby. We're not...doing so good, though. She's...in our heads. I don't know about the others, but...I know I c-can't hold them b-back much...much l-longer," I stuttered, my eyes closing in concentration as I pushed the shadows away.

     "Don't worry, I'll help you," he promised, as he got to work unlocking my cell.

     "Jinxx, no. CC...not responding. Him first," I said.

     He nodded quickly and rushed to find CC. "He's out, hopefully just asleep, or else he'd be trying to attack you. I'll fix him," he said. I saw a bright flash of blue light as Jinxx took care of CC.

     With a gasp, CC woke up. "W-What happened? Jinxx?" he asked.

     "Hey, CC. Are you okay?" Jinxx asked.
