What is going on? They all stopped laughing, talking, whispering, they all stood frozen and everyone looked at the same direction. Me. Why are they even starring at me?
"You sure know how to steal the show." dad whispered in my ear and my eyes went wide open.
The people started talking and laughing again. A couple around my mom's and dad's age approached us smiling.
"John, Mellisa we're happy you made it." the man said to my parents. His brown hair was starting to turn into white and he had familiar characteristics. He had green-brown eyes and a smile was always on his face. He wore a tuxedo like any other man in here and his wife beside him was ellegant, with a long blue dress. Her hair almost blonde and her eyes light brown. She was a really beautiful woman with class.
"Tomas, Catherine, thank you for the invitation." my dad gave him a polite smile.
"Who is this beautiful young lady?" the man looked down at me smiling. Hunter was coming from behind, he looked like he was in a trance.
"Allison Diamond." i gave him my hand and he took it, same with his wife.
"Allison." Hunter was now next to the woman. The man looked at Hunter and smiled. I get a feeling they know each other really good.
"You are Allison who trains my sons members." the man looked back at me in realization. Son? What..Oh my god. Tomas is Hunters father. I started to heat up and almost choke on my saliva.
"Yes. It's an honor." i said and gave him a smile. He smiled back and excused himself and my father and they left somewhere in the house.
"Wait, is this the girl you always talk about?" Catherine looked over at her son smiling.
"MOM!" he said in a warning tone and she chuckled. Wait. He is talking to his mom about me? A blush crowled up his neck and he was looking everywhere but us. I fought the urge to grab him and kiss him, instead i blushed and let out a nervous chuckle.
"Come on Mellisa, i need to show you something." she said and winked at my mom.
"Hey i saw that!" Hunter pointed at his mom and she started laughing along with my mom, until they disappeared in the house.
"Sorry about my mom." he whispered looking down. I blushed when i remembered what happened a few minutes ago and i wanted so bad to hug him but i couldn't. I need to be strong.
"It's ok." i said, finding my fingers interesting in that moment.
"You look really breath taking today." he said in his huskily british voice. Man, I missed him so much but i won't let him treat him like shit again. I snapped my head up at him and gave him a smile.
"Thank you." i said in a low voice as he placed a string of hair behind my ear. He was looking at the string as he placed in behind my ear with really slow moves, his other hand in his pocket. I had the time to examine him, he was wearing a tuxedo like the others but god, he looked better than all of them in here. It was something that made him different. His hair slid back and his face soft, unlike other days. It reminded me at the first time i saw him. The time he saved me from those bullies. Memories flashed back and i mentally shook my head to make this thoughts disappear.
"Happy Birthday by the way." i snapped him back to reality and he looked up at me and smiled. "Thank you." he said and smiled bright. "This is for you. It's not much but i hope you like it." i said and handed him a little box. Yeah i bought him a present, I'm not ungrateful for all the things he did for me.
"It wasn't necessary." he said as he took the box in his hands. Our fingers touched and it shot electricity through my whole body, even if i was wearing my gloves. I pulled my hand to my side and bit my lip.
"No but I wanted to." i repeated the same words he told me on my birthday and his eyes lit up. He opened the box, which revealed a black matte watch, really expensive and with the technology i use. But i didn't told him that. It has gps in it, just in case. I actually have a same watch but a little bit more girly.
He looked up at me and smiled. "Thank you, it's more than enough." he said as he wore the watch in his left wrist. He looked at it smiling and then back at me.
"May i have this dance." He said out of the blue and offered me his hand smiling bright.
I smiled and gave him my hand. He guided me in the centre of the ball room, where a lot of people were dancing and pulled me closer to him, dangerously close actually. He placed a hand in my lower waist and the other one intertwined with my fingers and we started moving around in the rhythm of the slow song. He never took his eyes of me while spinning me around and catching me from my waist. God knows how much i love tango.
"Can we talk?" he asked out of the blue. I looked up at him and bit my lower lip. This awfully memories came back and i closed my eyes.
"I may have this dance now." someone spoke and my eyes snapped open. Hunter looked pissed off, his jaw clenched and i'm sure he was grinding them. I looked over to the other person. Alec.
"I'm in the middle of a conversation." Hunter said between his teeth.
"You know the rules. One song, one dance. So, i would like to have my best friend now." Alec said and tilt his head on the side looking at him serious.
Hunter looked at me one more time, sadness was all over his face, before he stormed away and disappeared in the crowd.
"I just saved your ass." he said as we danced.
"No you didn't, the song did." i narrowed my eyes at him and started laughing. I could see Hunter watching from far, his eyes never left our moves. I couldn't concentrate, a blush always on my cheeks. Alec was chuckling at the affection Hunter had on me. I smacked his head as the song changed. Hunter stood up but sat back down as Tyler came. Poor Hunter, deserves it tho.
"May i have this dance please?" Tyler wiggled his eyebrows and handed me his hand. Alec kissed my forehead and left. I started dancing with Tyler who started telling jokes in my ear and i was smiling all the time bitting my lower lip. I wanted to laugh so bad but then everybody would look at us like we are idiots. The song changed and Hunter stood up once again to be stopped by Sean who came by my side. The truth is i don't want to talk to him, it still hurts after a whole month.
"May I have this dance?" Sean gave me a bright smile revealing his white teeth. I took his hand and we danced, moving around the dancefloor. He run his fingers through my hair and I in his. He spun me around his hands and we laughed as the song came to an end and i felt a tap on my shoulder.

Allison steals the show and meets Hunter's and Alec's parents for the first time.
She and Hunter share a moment over the present she bought him, bringing her bad the good old memories.
She dances with him, but is saved by her friends when Hunter asks to talk.
She was litelly saved by the dance.
