Tw: they take medication? I don't know if that's a trigger but i might as well put it here.

Evan POV

I blushed when I heard the tall boy make his way out the door with Jeremy and Michael. He was beautiful. His hair was so fluffy and looked soft. His cheekbones were glorious.

But I knew who he was. Connor Murphy. The school's notorious druggie, loner, and he was failing most of his classes.

But that didn't stop me from being head over heels for him. I'm decently OK with weed. I know that Michael smokes pretty regularly, and Jeremy does sometimes. I don't mind, and neither does mom or Mr. Heere. Well it bothered them a little bit, but they tolerated it.

Anyway, back to Connor.

He was so handsome, but I knew I was just the lonely kid that no one noticed.

By the time Jeremy got home, it was late. Probably around 10:30. He was always home late nowadays though. He hated me. And I knew it.

I just took up space in his home. I took over his gaming room, I take up space at the table during meals, and I'm just another waste of space, especially with my broken arm, but I was still one before that.

I looker down at my cast. Still plain white. No signatures. I was going to ask Jeremy but he'd probably tell me to fuck off.

I sighed and shut my laptop, hearing Jeremy truge up the steps and slam his bedroom door. I layed down and bed and stared at the ceiling for a bit, before slowly drifting off to sleep.

Jeremy POV

In the morning, I shot awake when my alarm went off. I shut it off quickly and got dressed. I opened my closet and grabbed a random shirt.

Eminem. Nope. Why did I even still have that? I threw it on the ground and grabbed a different shirt.

I pulled on my sweater and left my room, almosr running into Evan on the way out.

"Sorry!" He said. I rolled my eyes. He walked dowm the stairs and I went into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and attempted to comb my floof down a bit. I sighed and put the comb down in defeat.

I downed my meds quickly and trudged down the stairs.

Evan was sitting at the breakfast table, eating some toast. I sat down across from him, and Heidi passed me a plate with eggs and toast on it.

"Thank you." I said. I got a text from Michael. I opener my phone as I bit into my toast.

im giving connor a ride to school too so you might as well ask evan if he wants a ride

I sighed and contemplated asking Evan. He asked all the time because he hated riding the bus. Maybe if I let him come one time he won't ask again.

"Evan do you want a ride to school?" I said. Evan jumped slightly at the sound of his name. He perked up.

"S-Sure!" He said. He got up and put his plate in the sink. He ran back up stairs and to the bathroom.

I finished up my food and put my plate in the sink as well. I thanked Heidi again and started putting on my converse. I heard Michael's old PT Cruiser pull into thw driveway.

"EVAN. MICHAEL'S HERE." I yelled. He ran down the stairs. He already had his shoes on and his bag over his shoulder. I grabbed my backpack. It was a really nice messenger bag, because Rich had gotten Michael and I new ones after the... incident.

I walked out the door and hopped in the front seat of Michael's car. Connor was already in the backseat. He looked a little stoned. Evan hopped in, and when he saw Connor, he freaked out a little.

"H-hi C-Connor." He said softly. Connor waved at him a little.

Michael pulled out of the driveway. Evan looked a little umcomfortable. I almost felt bad for him. Connor was sitting next to him, eating from a box of cornflakes.

"Don't get your cereal all over my car," Michael warned. "I won't hesitate to smack you."

Connor rolled his eyes. "Okay, mom." Evan laughed a little. Connor looked over at Evan, looking him up and down a bit.

"No one signed your cast..." he noted, pointing at Evan's arm.

"N-no..." Evan said.

"I'll sign it." Connor said. Evan's eyes widened.

"Nonono you don't have to I just-"

"Let me sign your cast." Connor said sternly. Evan took no time to pull a black sharpie out of his pocket. Connor wrote his name across the whole cast. It took up most of the space in one side.

"Michael, Jeremy, why haven't you signed it?" Connor asked, looking up into the front seat.

"He hasn't asked." I said as Michael pulled into the school parking lot.

"He didn't ask me." Connor pointed out. I blushed a little. I guess it was kind of rude not too... he was probably to scared to ask. God I'm an asshole.

"Okay. I'll sign it." I said. Michael nodded. We both signed Evan's cast. Michael signed just over the N's in Connor's name, and I signed under the R. I handed Evan the sharpie and he put it back into his pocket. He started to walk towards his locker, where he and Jared usually stood and talked until the bell rang. I hesitated for a moment before speaking up.

"Evan!" He turned. "Do you and Jared want to hang out with us before class?" His face brightened. He nodded.

"I-I have to go find Jared first!" As if on queue, Jared walked in the front door.

"C'mon!" Michael said, motioning for them to follow. Evan quickly followed, Jared trailing, a bit confused, behind Evan.
