Regardless of how incongruous
you may feel,
of how painstaking you
paint your face up
every single morning,
of how people may relegate you
for trying to crawl out
of your comfort zone,
you are a beautiful human being.
Regardless of how fledging
you feel in your life,
know you are only at the beginning.
Regardless of if you are a heretic,
or a strong believer,
if you are emotionally attached
to things that may seem irrational,
if you feel like imminent change is
only a thing of dream,
you are the light at the top of the lighthouse,
unknowingly guiding people
to safety from their own storm.
Regardless of how imperturbable
people may act towards the things
you have an undying passion for,
of how many euphemisms you seem
to receive daily from the people
who claim to be your friends,
of how savory a quick getaway
from your existence,
you are potentially opulent in
the one thing
money can’t truly buy:
happiness.
And you don’t need anyone
to solve that enigma.
Regardless of negativity,
you are your own commander.
